On the day when the Dragon King Typhoon enveloped Taiwan, Ji’er was writing the preface, feeling a bit nervous.
Outside, the wind howled, blowing the nearby tin-roofed buildings with a thunderous rumble.
The sound was like someone using iron sheets as nori to roll sushi, or like the tin sheets shouting: I want to fly with the wind, quickly set me free!
Thinking of the scene of tin sheets flying everywhere, Ji’er, who was naturally timid, wouldn’t dare to go out. Watching the TV news, the department stores were packed with people. For the anniversary sale, beauty-loving women braved the wind and rain, not afraid of flying signs or fallen street trees, determined to go out shopping. At this moment, Ji’er had only one thought…
Fierce!
Ji’er is such a coward who wouldn’t even dare to cross the street to buy instant noodles. Here, Ji’er can’t help but pay tribute to all the beauty-loving women.
Okay, now let’s talk about the new book. This “Don’t Mess with the Domineering CEO” is the first shot in the “Love Matching DNA” series. I like to try different character styles, so this time I arranged a super fierce female protagonist, Ding Qinyan.
Her personality is fresh, spicy, and sharp, like chili peppers stir-fried with Sichuan pepper, with a taste quite different from the ordinary.
While writing, I often unconsciously transfer the character’s personality to Ji’er’s personality. So when writing this manuscript, I naturally felt that Ji’er was also like Ding Qinyan, full of infinite vitality.
As for the male protagonist, Wei Zhanyi, he is as always, strong and domineering.
Ji’er has no interest in soft men (I guarantee this sentence is definitely a double entendre). However, Wei Zhanyi is different from other strong male protagonists – he is tough with a touch of gentleness.
He knows what’s best for Ding Qinyan, but he doesn’t just “know” – he also takes action, which gives this pair of strong-willed “non-lovers” a perfect ending.
As for how he is tough with a touch of gentleness, you’ll have to read it for yourself.
The next work is already titled “Playboy CEO, Don’t Chase Me”, which tells the story of Wei Zhenghai.
If the male and female protagonists of “Don’t Mess with the Domineering CEO” are “enemies meeting”, then Wei Zhenghai and his wife are definitely a quarrelsome but loving couple. Whether fighting or loving, they are equally passionate, and writing about them is quite exciting.
It seems Ji’er’s spirits will be high for quite some time.
When the book is published, it will probably be winter. By then, I hope everyone can come to Ji’er’s book and feel the vibrant life force.
See you next time!
Ji’er “Don’t Mess with the Domineering CEO”
Chapter One: “Hurry, Hurry, It’s Almost 8 o’clock!”
A large group of people – those carrying cameras, holding microphones, taking notes, and holding cameras – had all taken their positions, waiting for today’s hottest protagonist to be exposed!
Although they belonged to different companies, they exchanged tacit glances of cooperation.
TV news reporters had already put on heavy makeup early on and found their backgrounds outside the “New Chuan Mansion”.
“Three, two, one.” The photography reporter made a gesture.
“Good morning, viewers. Welcome to the 8 o’clock news on Sun TV. First, we’ll report on the major earthquake in the business world across the Taiwan Strait.”
In another corner, the Spring TV broadcaster had already entered the scene –
“Business celebrities Wang Jinqiang, Lin Jiande, and Gao Fengyong officially declared bankruptcy yesterday afternoon. According to our exclusive news, the debt rights of these three are in the hands of ‘Yihai Group’ CEO Wei Zhanyi.”
After a pause, he continued: “Coincidentally, fourteen years ago, these three had a feud with the Wei family. Yesterday was the death anniversary of Wei Zhanyi’s father, Wei Shixie. It is rumored that the three maliciously embezzled the ‘Wei Group’. Is Wei Zhanyi’s action a ‘Prince’s Revenge’? Our station will provide the most detailed report.”
In another corner, Warm TV began its live connection –
“We are now at Wei Zhanyi’s residence. It is estimated that in three minutes, this brave business warrior will appear for a conversation.”
Sitting in the shade of a tree, Ding Qinyan chewed gum and blew a large bubble boredly.
“Is it okay for us to sit here?” her partner Xiao Ke asked nervously.
“What’s wrong with it?” She adjusted her sunglasses, her neat short hair flying in the wind.
“Other reporters are either guarding the main entrance or the car exit.” Xiao Ke scratched his head, looking worried. “And we’re just sitting here…”
“This place is well-connected. As soon as there’s movement, we can quickly get to any location.” She blew another large bubble.
“But others are directly stationed at those points, not sitting so far away!”
Reporters crowded together, with the initiator’s short hair flying, bright eyes sparkling, stepping on a metaphorical wind-fire wheel, moving forward.
Continue charging ahead!
Leaving the New Chuan luxury residence, Wei Zhanyi was immediately surrounded by a large group of media.
Everyone was eager, preparing to hear a long statement. Based on past experience, Wei Zhanyi was witty, talkative, and a notorious playboy. During previous interviews, he would boastfully talk about the beautiful women in his arms, even revealing stories of gambling millions in Macau and losing everything.
From his tone, giving away cash seemed effortless and even enjoyable!
Someone should really read his fortune. This man’s life had never been calm, always swinging between highs and lows. He had become famous in the stock market overnight, then quickly lost everything. He earned money quickly and spent it wildly. Though he had restrained his gambling habits in Macau, his business acumen remained imprecise, constantly acquiring unremarkable small companies.
The previous generation, Wei Shijie, was already lacking in business talent, and his son was even worse!
Wait… correction, the above description was the perspective before yesterday. From today onwards, perhaps he would turn the situation around and become a formidable character.
Cameras clicked rapidly, reporters swarming, raising their lenses as high as possible.
Wei Zhanyi wore an Armani suit, its smooth tailoring accentuating his athletic and elegant physique. Unlike other focal figures, he didn’t wear sunglasses or avoid cameras, standing tall among the crowd, standing out like a crane among chickens.
“Mr. Wei, is this a revenge action?”
“Mr. Wei, is it true that Wang Jinde and three others have a grudge with the Wei family?”
“If this action is a prince’s revenge, would you agree?”
He remained expressionless, revealing no emotion, allowing the camera flashes to continue clicking.
Behind him, a man who looked similar was blinking and flirting with a familiar female reporter, his young face appearing more approachable. He was Wei Zhenghai, Wei Zhanyi’s younger brother.
Reporters from other fixed points rushed over, with Ding Qinyan not falling behind, skating quickly on inline skates.
“Make way, make way, not responsible if I bump into you!” she shouted along the way.
This tactic worked on reporters from other locations but was ineffective against the group waiting at the front.
She was anxious. No way! She must interview Wei Zhanyi, which was extremely important to her. As Wei Zhanyi was about to speak, she had a sudden inspiration and shouted, “Ah! Wang Jinde is holding a knife and charging from over there!” As expected, the reporters in front immediately turned, their eyes like radar, desperately searching.
“Where? Where?”
