In a certain city, Xiaotu’s favorite cake shop, “Strawberry House,” had a unique and adorable decor. Tables shaped like strawberries, with many beautiful crystal lamps underneath, creating a unique ambiance through the translucent glass… Swings made of rattan were placed beside each table, adorned with vines and small strawberries, though fake, they looked real. The shop’s signature strawberry scent made one’s mouth water. On the counter, various signature cakes were displayed, each as exquisite as a divine artwork, but they were limited editions, with only five of each kind available daily, naturally at a high price…
The shop was filled with many potted plants, not flowers or trees, but special strawberries. They couldn’t be eaten but were used like other potted plants for decoration…
The pink crystal door opened, and two girls walked in. One, a stunning beauty, was looking around as if searching for someone, while the other was staring directly at the cakes in the display case, her eyes sparkling with excitement and longing.
“Xiaotu is here.” A very handsome boy waved to them.
“Senior Han.” Li Si’er, seeing Han Xichen, reacted just like Xiaotu when she saw cake, eager to “devour” him. She dragged Xiaotu over, ignoring her resentful look.
“Senior, sorry we’re late,” Si’er said softly, blushing.
“It’s okay, I just got here too. Xiaotu, all the signature cakes today are for you,” Han Xichen said affectionately, looking at Xiaotu. In fact, he had arrived two hours ago and had already reserved today’s cakes the day before. These weren’t something money could simply buy.
“Really! Senior, you’re so nice. I’ve only had them twice, and both times my brother bought them for me. These signature cakes are so hard to get. You’re amazing, Senior.” Xiaotu smiled happily, her smile momentarily stunning Han Xichen, like an angel’s smile, so sweet and warm. For a moment, he felt he truly saw an angel.
“Xiaotu, go pick out the cakes. Pick some for me and the Senior too, take your time,” Si’er winked at Xiaotu. She knew the Senior liked Xiaotu, but Xiaotu didn’t feel the same. Xiaotu seemed to only care about her pastries, so Si’er decided to claim this “poor little rabbit” for herself.
