“You’re here?” Her voice was soft and light, as if afraid of disturbing him.
Xing Tuo turned back and gave her a seductive smile.

At that moment, Na Li almost thought he would kiss her. She held her breath, closed her eyes, letting her heart race in her chest. But Xing Tuo’s next words immediately sobered her.
“But, I despise you.” Xing Tuo’s tone was soft yet icy. He released her chin and took out a handkerchief to wipe his hand.
Na Li suddenly opened her eyes, her face pale as snow. It seemed all the blood in her body had frozen, a cold air spreading through her entire body. She struggled to speak: “You… what did you just say?”
