Dancing Phoenix in Another World

Just after calling out, Lan Lan saw several figures flying from different corners, and soon found herself in a familiar embrace.

She collapsed weakly in Long Junhao’s arms, unable to speak.

Long Junhao looked at her pale face, and anger surged within him. His blazing gaze fixed on Lin Long as he gritted his teeth: “If she suffers even the slightest harm, I’ll make you all pay!” He then strode away, carrying Lan Lan.

Lin Long’s face turned pale at Long Junhao’s anger; he seemed like a devil about to devour her.

But the person behind was even more difficult to face – it was her husband, the Crown Prince. His gaze was filled with disappointment as he shook his head and said, “You’ve disappointed me so much! How can you be a mother to the nation like this?” Then he walked away without looking back.

Lin Long felt her heart shatter, realizing her reckless actions had been foolish. Knowing that Long Junhao had destroyed the Liu family for a commoner girl made her understand he wouldn’t fear her. She had only created trouble for herself, and the reputation she had built was now ruined. Some mistakes are irreversible, no matter how much one regrets.

One wrong step can lead to total defeat.

Long Junhao carried Lan Lan into the council hall with a dark expression.

Seeing the Emperor present, Lan Lan struggled to get down and pay her respects.

“This subject pays respects to the Emperor.”

“Rise! Sit! What happened?” The Emperor asked, noticing his son’s troubled demeanor.

“Nothing serious, I nearly fell into the lotus pond. Junhao is simply worried about me,” Lan Lan explained, glancing at Long Junhao.

She didn’t want to cause trouble, believing they were ultimately family, and there was no need for tension.

“Oh! Is that so!” The Emperor replied, seemingly satisfied and no longer pressing the issue.

“Sweetheart, did you miss me?”

A familiar voice suddenly came from the doorway, making Lan Lan tremble. She immediately turned to look.

“Grandpa! I missed you so much! Why did it take you so long to come back?” Seeing Dragon Grandpa, she sprang to life, throwing herself into Long Dahai’s arms, her tears flowing with excitement.
