Future Phone – Part Two

Sitting in the car and daydreaming, unknowingly, three cars had already exited the Fuqian Expressway and entered Hangzhou’s territory! “Let’s stop ahead and grab a meal,” rubbing his stomach, Hao Yunyang told a Dragon Organization member driving: “Ramen!”

After getting off the expressway and entering Hangzhou, in less than six minutes, a ramen shop with two large boilers at the entrance came into Hao Yunyang’s view.

Three cars – an Audi 7, a Range Rover, and Hao Yunyang’s current ride, an Audi – screeched to a stop outside this ordinary ramen shop, startling the owner spinning noodles at the entrance.

Before the shop’s customers and owner could react, the doors of three cars worth nearly ten million opened. Six burly men in black suits and sunglasses – a standard bodyguard look – jumped out from the front Audi and rear Range Rover.

Next to come down was Hao Yunyang from the middle Audi.

“G-great boss,” the ramen shop owner was terrified. Even though Hao Yunyang looked only in his twenties with a friendly appearance, the eight special ops and Dragon Organization members behind him created an invisible pressure. Despite Hao Yunyang’s harmonious looks, he was involuntarily categorized as intimidating.

Stammering, the owner’s forehead was covered in sweat, his extreme nervousness evident.

However, this reaction surprised Hao Yunyang, who found it somewhat amusing, saying, “Don’t be afraid. We’re here to eat noodles.”

“Ah,” the shop owner looked utterly shocked.

“Sixteen portions of ramen,” Hao Yunyang stretched and smiled, “With eggs, small ribs, large ribs, lamb, and beef. Make it quick.”

When Hao Yunyang and his eight companions entered the small ramen shop, it was already full. A few timid young people, seeing them enter, quickly finished their meals and left.

A crash of ceramic bowls hitting the ground interrupted another special operations team member’s explanation. The ramen shop owner, who had probably watched too many Hong Kong films, immediately turned pale upon hearing them refer to Hao Yunyang as the “dragon head”. His hand trembled, and the first serving of ramen he was carrying shattered into pieces.

The sudden noise naturally drew the attention of the Violent Dragon group and special operations team members. With a swoosh, eight people’s sixteen eyes fell on the ramen shop owner, their overwhelming momentum instantly causing his legs to tremble and forcing a smile more grotesque than crying. He stammered, “Big, big brothers, s-sorry.”

“Cook another one,” Hao Yunyang rolled his eyes, speaking with a gentle tone. “Put this one on the bill. We’ll settle up together later.”

The ramen shop owner nervously agreed and went back to cooking, while Hao Yunyang widened his eyes and declared, “From now on, everyone smile!”

After this not-too-small commotion, everyone enjoyed their two bowls of ramen. The ramen shop owner and his wife were thoroughly frightened, and before leaving, Hao Yunyang could only take out two hundred yuan as an apology.

The eight people following Hao Yunyang wore stiff smiles, except for the two special operations team members who smiled more naturally. If a child saw their expressions, they might be scared to tears.

Standing at his shop’s entrance and watching Hao Yunyang and his nine companions drive away, the ramen shop owner finally exhaled deeply. Wiping sweat from his forehead, he turned to his wife and said, “Don’t tell me China doesn’t have a black society? It’s not that I’ve watched too many movies – this is real! That young man is definitely a gang leader.”

“It’s Tuesday. I wonder if Zhen Zhen is at school,” Hao Yunyang sat in the car with his hands behind his head, feeling uncertain.

He had never been to college and didn’t understand what “freedom” meant. His concept of school was stuck in high school. She should be in class, right?

He hadn’t called to notify Hao Zhen Zhen beforehand, only knowing she was in the West Lake District. Could he find her in such a large school by just showing up?

But if he called to notify her now, wouldn’t the surprise he had imagined be ruined?

Should he call and have her come meet him, or find her himself and give her a surprise?

Caught between these two options, until the special operations team member driving told him they had arrived at the West Lake District campus, Hao Yunyang still couldn’t decide. He could only helplessly touch his nose and say, “Let’s ask the guard.”

College campuses are generally open, with anyone able to enter and exit freely, requiring no special procedures. However, many schools have registration systems for outside vehicles.

The three cars were lined up and stopped by the campus guard for a simple registration. After putting down the ballpoint pen, Hao Yunyang looked at the young guard and smiled, asking, “Can you help me find a student’s class or dormitory?

Why?” Hao Yunyang tidied up his messy emotions and asked with a smile.

“Because she’s a fierce girl!” The security guard laughed: “At the beginning of this month, a guy tried to pursue her but failed. He wanted to force her by making things a fait accompli, but Hao Zhenzhen kicked him in the balls. Because of this, the school has rated her as the most formidable girl since the university’s founding!”

“Someone wanted to force himself on her?!” If he had previously only felt a sense of loss upon hearing that Hao Zhenzhen had a boyfriend, this news directly ignited his rage. The smile on his face instantly turned cold.

Chapter 267

Without giving Hao Yunyang a chance to finish speaking, the middle-aged woman snorted and directly closed the window.

Standing outside the window, Hao Yunyang suddenly felt a swelling sensation in his head, let out a bitter laugh, and then knocked on the window again. He took out his wallet, retrieved his ID card, and pressed it against the window for the middle-aged woman to see.

Seeing Hao Yunyang’s ID card, the middle-aged woman finally believed him somewhat, hesitantly opening the window and asking, “You’re really Hao Zhenzhen’s brother?”

“Absolutely!” Hao Yunyang quickly replied, “If you still don’t believe me, I also have my driver’s license here.”

“There is a bit of a resemblance,” the middle-aged woman carefully examined Hao Yunyang, nodding with some uncertainty. She closed the window, opened the reception room door, and poked her head out to Hao Yunyang, “The girls are in class and won’t be done for another half hour. Come in and sit down. By the way, don’t you have Hao Zhenzhen’s phone number?”

“Hehe, this was a spontaneous visit,” Hao Yunyang smiled and explained, “I wanted to surprise her. I was too busy working during last year’s Spring Festival and didn’t have time to go home. It’s been over a year since I’ve seen her.”

Following the middle-aged woman into the reception room, he sat on a rectangular bench. The middle-aged woman curiously glanced at the two special operations team members but didn’t ask much, simply telling Hao Yunyang, “Wait here. Zhenzhen and the others always come back for a noon nap after class. You’ll be able to see her soon.”

“Okay,” hearing the woman’s familiar way of referring to Hao Zhenzhen, Hao Yunyang’s heart stirred. After a moment’s hesitation, he asked, “Are you very familiar with Zhenzhen?”

“Hehe,” hearing Hao Yunyang use a respectful form of address, the middle-aged woman’s face softened. She smiled and nodded, “These young girls usually have a good relationship with me.”

“Um, can I ask you something?” Hao Yunyang hesitated.

“It’s about Zhenzhen’s boyfriend, right?” As an experienced person, the middle-aged woman immediately understood Hao Yunyang’s intention. Seeing him nod, she continued, “Zhenzhen is a good girl. Her boyfriend is Gu Shaohua…”

While waiting for Hao Zhenzhen to finish class, Hao Yunyang learned about her experiences over the past year from the middle-aged woman.
