Future Phone – Part Two

Hao Yunyang’s future path would be an incredibly powerful and smooth road. The longer time passes and the more accumulated, the more shocking the unleashed power would be. Perhaps one day in the future, Hao Yunyang could also stand above all beings, a pseudo-god overlooking the masses?

“Aren’t you bringing anything?” Hao Yunyang, carrying a suitcase and laptop, walked out of the room and saw Wang Shiyu standing quietly, with no luggage around. He couldn’t help but ask: “No change of clothes or anything?”

“Already packed,” Wang Shiyu said softly.

“Where?” Hao Yunyang scanned around but didn’t see Wang Shiyu’s luggage.

“Already in the car,” Wang Shiyu said. “Shall we go now?”

“Your efficiency is something else,” Hao Yunyang laughed, walking towards the door and nodding: “Let’s go now. It’s over 2,000 kilometers.”

Wang Shiyu nodded slightly. Hao Yunyang then turned on the music. In a burst of metallic rock music, a black Audi slowly drove into the service area, parked, and they had a quick meal at the restaurant, which cost Hao Yunyang over 300 yuan.

After leaving the service area, Hao Yunyang looked thoughtfully at the service area’s name and suddenly grabbed Wang Shiyu: “Zhenning Service Area, where exactly is this?”

After passing through Guiyang, Wang Shiyu remained silent for a long time before hesitantly saying: “We’ll reach Kunming in three hours.”

“Damn it, didn’t I tell you not to drive so fast? And you told me we were going to Changsha!” Hao Yunyang exploded.

Wang Shiyu was silent for a long time, slightly parting his lips: “I once drove for a day and two nights, covering a total of 6,372 kilometers.”

Angry as he was, the situation couldn’t be changed. They couldn’t possibly make Wang Shiyu turn the car around and drive back from Changsha.

For the rest of the journey, Hao Yunyang made sure Wang Shiyu wouldn’t touch the steering wheel. Even though he was still somewhat drowsy, he gripped the wheel tightly, determined not to give Wang Shiyu another chance to speed.

“Camera 500 meters ahead, speed limit 100 km/h, please…”

“These speed cameras will be the death of me,” Hao Yunyang muttered to himself. He knew exactly how Wang Shiyu drove – speeding like crazy on stretches without cameras, then suddenly braking when the speed camera alert came, with no regard for the highway.
