Future Phone – Part Two

“We few are just riding on Yunyang’s connections to get a nominal title, without having to do any real work. We’re not interested in the headquarters’ procedures,” Liu Ming suddenly emerged from the corner, laughing: “But we haven’t gathered together for over a year since our last meetup. I’ve already made arrangements with Qiu. You two won’t be too busy with work tonight, right?”

“Tonight?” Hao Yunyang was stunned, suddenly remembering that their group hadn’t met for a long time. Since the last gathering, they’d hardly even seen each other, let alone sit down and socialize! After thinking for a moment, he nodded: “Okay, let’s meet up.”

Turning to Zhao Chenxin, he said: “Call Ping and Junqiang too. If we’re gathering, we can’t leave anyone out!”

“Mm!” Zhao Chenxin, who also hadn’t seen her close girlfriends for quite a while, immediately agreed without hesitation and excitedly took out her phone to walk aside, presumably to call Chen Ping.

“Hehe, I’ve already booked the private room. Seven-thirty tonight at Jufeng Garden Yan private room, no excuses!” Liu Ming had clearly planned this in advance, and after Hao Yunyang nodded, he cheerfully announced the room number…

The tour of the Jiuxiao headquarters and familiarization with the operational procedures was scheduled for three hours, and everything concluded just in time for lunch.

Initially, Hao Yunyang led everyone on the tour, but after Su Jingchen started introducing other matters, Hao Yunyang spent the next hour or so chatting idly with Liu Ming and others in his office. They discussed a wide range of topics, seemingly nonsensical, but this casual chat completely dispelled the worries of Mu Huitong and others. Hao Yunyang was still the same Hao Yunyang, just with a bit more money, power, and influence.

It’s worth mentioning that although Su Jingchen’s educational background wasn’t high, she was exceptionally perceptive. Over the past year, she had grown significantly and was temporarily appointed as Jiuxiao Group’s Chief Executive Officer, though her actual role was more of a comprehensive management of the group’s headquarters.
