Future Phone – Part Two

“In that case, I was overthinking it,” Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle finally revealed a relaxed smile. As if speaking to himself, yet also seeming to address those present: “This is indeed a rare opportunity. Heaven favors our Liu family!”

After a somewhat lyrical reflection, Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle handed the stack of documents to his Third Uncle, saying: “Immediately take these three technologies to the research department, study them carefully. Only after thoroughly understanding these three technologies should you apply for patents.”

“By the way, big brother,” Third Uncle took the documents, curious: “What exactly are these three technologies?”

“Hehe,” Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle looked at him with a smile: “Once our Liu family masters these three technologies, we will quickly leave all electronics and electrical companies in the middle and lower tiers of Liu City far behind. We’ll be miles ahead.”

“I understand,” hearing Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle speak this way, Third Uncle’s expression turned serious. He carefully placed the documents in a file bag and quickly left the living room.

“Remember, maintaining appearances is key. Gou Eryu is our direct liaison, and Hao Yunyang must be treated with utmost respect,” Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle said calmly.

“Yes,” everyone responded, and Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle waved his hand: “Go have dinner. It’s getting late.”

Everyone filed out, leaving Liu Guohua’s villa.

“When necessary, get closer to this Hao Yunyang,” Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle looked at Liu Guohua, the nephew praised as the backbone of the Liu family’s younger generation, gently patting his shoulder with meaningful intent: “Try to ensure he remains our family’s direct liaison forever.”

“What do you mean?” Liu Guohua was somewhat confused, as they had just advised maintaining a surface-level respect.

“He’s barely in his twenties yet already holds the position of county-level city liaison. Though I’m not clear on the organization’s specific promotion standards, his future prospects are not hard to see,” Liu Family’s Eldest Uncle chuckled: “If our Liu family can keep pace with him, we might one day become a powerful force within the organization.”

“Are you saying he has potential?”
