Girl, Can You Escape?

“Did you really say all that just now?” Shen Yixuan stared directly at Luo Yaling.

“Brother Xuan, what are you talking about? Let’s go home, okay?” Zhuo Ning pressed close to Shen Yixuan, but to no avail.

“Get away! Don’t touch me with your filthy hands. You’re not qualified to call me that – just hearing it makes me sick.” Shen Yixuan flung her away in disgust.

Then, without looking at her, he walked to Luo Yaling’s side to untie her.

“Is it because of this fox-like woman that you hit me? Isn’t that right, Brother Xuan? Weren’t you always the most doting on me? It’s all her fault. What’s so good about her? She’s just seductive-looking…”

“Enough! She’s better than you in every way! Which hand did you use to hit her?” Shen Yixuan held Luo Yaling in his arms, narrowing his eyes at Zhuo Ning.

“I was just disciplining her. Why are you treating me like this? Don’t you love me anymore, Brother Xuan?” Zhuo Ning looked at him innocently. But when she saw Luo Yaling in his arms, her gaze turned vicious.

Everyone looked at Zhuo Ning with contempt.

Luo Yaling looked at Shen Yixuan, wanting to know how important her sister was to him. The others were equally curious.

“Which hand did you hit her with?” Shen Yixuan asked sharply.

“It was… both hands,” Zhuo Ning trembled.

“Good, very good! Xu Chu.” Shen Yixuan glanced at Luo Yaling, ignoring Zhuo Ning.

“Here.”

“Chop off those two hands. I think you know what to do afterwards!” Shen Yixuan gave a bloodthirsty smile to Xu Chu.

Zhuo Ning looked at him in terror.

Xu Chu nodded in understanding.

He was more than happy to oblige, especially towards someone who had almost gotten him in trouble. Zhuo Ning had brought this upon herself.

“No!!! Brother Xuan, you can’t do this. Don’t you love my sister anymore?” Zhuo Ning watched as two black-clad men grabbed her, playing her last card.

“I never loved her. Stop using her to manipulate me. I’m not falling for it. How could you even think of that – you’d even dare to kill your own sister?” Shen Yixuan held Luo Yaling and walked out, too lazy to even look at Zhuo Ning.

“How is this possible? Just because of this woman, my three years were for nothing? I’ve been watching you. What did I do wrong?” Zhuo Ning broke free from the two black-clad men and grabbed Shen Yixuan’s trouser leg.

Shen Yixuan tried to step forward but found he couldn’t move. Looking down, he saw Zhuo Ning holding his trouser leg. He frowned in disgust and kicked her aside.

“What did you do wrong? You should ask yourself that!” Shen Yixuan said before continuing to walk, with his entourage following. Only the dejected Zhuo Ning and Xu Chu remained.

“Your brother?” Who is he? What is he talking about? When did she know his brother? Luo Yaling was confused.

“That little guy is your brother? No wonder his name sounded familiar.” Luo Yaling finally realized.

Bin Zhengxuan was frantic about his missing brother. According to his subordinates, his brother hadn’t been heard from since leaving Luo Yaling’s apartment. He suspected she had said something to him.

“Hasn’t he gone back?” Luo Yaling asked.

“If he had, would I be looking for you?” Bin Zhengxuan rudely pulled her off the bed.

“I didn’t…” Luo Yaling was confused and worried, unsure of what she might have done wrong.

Shen Yixuan rushed over as Luo Yaling began to fall, catching her. They landed on the ground together, with Shen Yixuan shielding her.

“Are you trying to murder her? She’s pregnant!” Shen Yixuan almost shouted, anxiously checking on Luo Yaling.

“Sorry!” Bin Zhengxuan realized he had been impulsive, not knowing about her pregnancy.

“Don’t apologize to me! You have your concerns, and I don’t blame you, but be careful.” Shen Yixuan helped Luo Yaling up, and as their hands touched, a surprising connection formed.

Bin Zhengxuan stared at the scene, while Naimi, beside him, blushed. Luo Yaling remained standing, her hand still intertwined with Shen Yixuan’s, their rings glowing red as she looked at hers in shock.

When they saw the characters and actions inside, Luo Yaling was stunned, her face turning as red as a cooked duck.

This is too exciting! This little guy is impressive. He just appeared while people were ‘exercising’, almost as if he had fallen asleep there. Two handsome men and beautiful women paused when they saw him emerge midair but then continued ‘exercising’. What is going on? There was even a dog following him. This is amazing! Luo Yaling thought inwardly.

No one in the room spoke, just staring blankly at the scene.

Chapter Ninety-Three: Delayed Confession

“Ahem! I think that should be your brother, right?” After the midair scene disappeared, Shen Yixuan was the first to come back to his senses.

“Hmm! Yes. I’m sorry, I was too impulsive.”

“I hope you can keep this a secret.” He didn’t want to cause any trouble.

“Of course.” Now that he knew his brother was fine, he felt more relieved. However, since he couldn’t see his brother, he would have to trouble them later. Keeping their secret was the right thing to do; he didn’t want anything to happen to them, Bin Zhengxuan thought.

“Did the little guy time travel?” Luo Yaling suddenly asked.

“Yes! Darling, those long hair and antique furniture make it clear it’s time travel.”

He appeared out of midair, and there seemed to be a dog too,” Shen Yixuan hugged Luo Yaling and explained.

“I want to ask, has this happened before?” He wanted to see his brother’s situation at any time.

“Xuan, I’m sorry, it hasn’t happened before. But I can ask my father. These rings were from my parents,” Luo Yaling replied apologetically.

“It’s okay. As long as he’s doing well, I’m at ease. If something like this happens again, please notify me,” Bin Zhengxuan instructed seriously.

“Yes, I would tell you even without you asking,” she assured him.

“I’ll go now and not disturb you,” Bin Zhengxuan said, pulling the dazed Naimi away.

“Darling, he’s gone,” Shen Yixuan called out unhappily.

“Oh.” Luo Yaling looked away from Bin Zhengxuan’s back and turned to Shen Yixuan.

“You’re not allowed to look at other men from now on,” Shen Yixuan insisted.

“Oh.” So he was jealous. He looked cute like this!

“By the way, what did your brother mean? Are you hiding something from me?”

Shen Yixuan narrowed his eyes at the distracted Luo Yaling.

“What did my brother say?” she asked, looking confused.

“I don’t know. Aren’t you clear about it?” He wanted to know what she was hiding.

Luo Yaling paused, then slowly widened her eyes: “Ah! That, actually it’s nothing, just bringing you home. Hehe!”

“Oh?” It was time to take her home and marry her quickly to avoid any improper designs on her.

“Actually, it was originally meant for me, but recently the old man said I just need to find a husband to come home,” she said, looking down like a child who had done something wrong.

Why was he looking at her like that? How could she mention choosing a husband? If it were him, she’d be afraid he’d look down on her. So, she never said anything. She felt it wasn’t her fault.

“So, you’re still choosing a husband now? Or choosing a successor?” he asked.

“Mm.” A successor? She had never thought about it; she was just following her brother’s wishes to find a husband.

Originally, she wanted to find a man to bring home, but her older brother didn’t allow it, so she was slowly choosing. Isn’t Xuan the best candidate? And the ring is already in his hand, so he can’t escape!

“Still choosing?” If she answered yes, he wouldn’t let her off. Finding another man while pregnant? He wouldn’t allow it. Shen Yixuan narrowed his eyes and stared at Luo Yaling, who was laughing.

“Aren’t you here? Why would I need to choose again? Choosing again would be so troublesome!” Luo Yaling blurted out, unaware of the person next to her, whose face was growing darker.
