Girl, I Will Spoil You

Leng Youlan walked towards the car prepared outside. She said, “I advise you to quickly handle the person on the ground and not move rashly. Don’t you want to know how he died? What if I say the person who killed him is now aiming a gun at your heads?”

This statement made Haleigh Light stop all movement. Looking at Luisan’s departing figure, he felt a familiar pain gradually expanding.

Biyue Henry looked at his friend, worried about him offending that woman. But he never knew she had such capital. At the same time, he felt unusually dejected. This version of her made him even more attracted.

Biyue Henry turned to the shocked guests. “Today’s banquet ends here due to unexpected events. Everyone, please go home.”

“Please bring them to me,” Leng Youlan instructed.

“Yes, Miss.” Youlin hurried off to fulfill her request.

As Leng Youlan waited, her thoughts drifted back to Luisan and her feelings. She couldn’t shake off the notion that something was troubling her sister, and she was determined to find the truth behind it.

A few moments later, Youlin reappeared with the three servants in tow. “Miss, I’ve brought them,” she announced.

“Thank you, Youlin. You may leave now,” Leng Youlan said, her voice steady. Once alone with the servants, she studied their expressions closely. “I want to know everything about Lei Tianyi. Start talking.”

The servants exchanged glances, gauging whether to speak freely or hold back. The tension in the air was palpable as Leng Youlan maintained her composed demeanor, waiting for them to break the silence.

Eventually, one of the servants, a tall man with nervous eyes, stepped forward. “Miss, we’ve served him for several years, and he’s not who he seems. He can be… unpredictable.”

Leng Youlan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “What do you mean?”

The servant hesitated before continuing. “He has dealings that may not be entirely legal. We’ve seen things we shouldn’t have.”

Leng Youlan’s curiosity deepened. She realized there was much more to uncover, and this revelation could impact everything she had planned.

Leng Youlan smiled, satisfied with the response. She had a way of making others comply with her whims. “Good. Maybe you’ll learn something about respect along the way.”

The atmosphere in the kitchen shifted as the weight of the conversation settled.
