Loving Care for the Yandere – Part One

Yin’s mother paused, her eyes gradually filling with tears, “he never intended to harm you. Sending you to his side to help cure him was all my idea. He has been in a coma since five years ago and knows nothing.”

Chen Jing’s mood became slightly complicated.

“What illness does he have?”

“I can’t explain clearly,” Yin’s mother shook her head. “Since he was three, this illness has existed, periodically causing him to fall into a coma each year.”

When the time came, he would wake up. But after turning twenty, his coma periods suddenly increased, from once a year to once a month. After that time five years ago, he never woke up again.

“We’ve seen famous doctors both domestically and internationally, and no one could cure him, until recently when Doctor Wang came.”

At this point, Yin’s mother suddenly knelt by the bedside, holding her hand, choking: “Miss Chen, I was too anxious then, afraid you wouldn’t agree, so… my methods were somewhat unsavory. I’m sorry, I apologize to you.”

Chen Jing couldn’t bear her kneeling and hurriedly avoided it, getting up to help her.

Yin’s mother refused to get up, crying: “Miss Chen, just for Ah Xi’s devoted heart, help him this one time, just this once, okay?”

Chen Jing felt utterly helpless: “…I never said I wouldn’t agree. Please get up, and let’s discuss this properly.”

She couldn’t help but mock internally: No wonder Xu Cheng’an was such a character… turns out it’s genetic!

Chen Jing stared at the sketch for a while, her fingertips falling on it, rubbing for a moment, then suddenly asked, “What do I need to do for this treatment plan?”

“You agreed?!” Yan’s mother’s joy was impossible to contain. Taking a deep breath, she quickly grasped Chen Jing’s hand, excitedly saying, “Good child, wait a moment, I’ll call Dr. Wang. He knows what to do. Wait here.”

Chen Jing smiled slightly, turning to look at Yan Chi lying in the nutrient solution. “Seems like I owe you from a previous life…”

Dr. Wang was waiting in the living room and came immediately when called.

As soon as he met her, he smiled and extended his hand politely: “Miss Chen, hello.”
