Peach Blossom Calamity

Wen Auntie was very happy to hear this, as Xia Bing was taking the initiative to visit her parents. She told Xia Bing the location was in W Town, not far from here.

The shop’s staff arrived, and Wen Auntie started greeting customers. Xia Bing helped out.

By 8:30, the shop had finally calmed down.

Wen Auntie said she was going to buy groceries for lunch.

“I’ll come too,” Xia Bing offered.

Wen Auntie nodded, and they went out together.

Journey

After buying groceries, Xia Bing helped carry them.

“Wen Auntie, I’m planning to go out and travel.”

“Okay, then hand me the groceries. I can manage alone.”

“I mean a short-term trip. If I don’t go out and experience more, I’m afraid my brain will turn into a vacuum…” Xia Bing explained with a laugh.

Wen Auntie nodded and asked where she was planning to go. Xia Bing said she hadn’t decided yet, but would call when she arrived somewhere.

The next day, Xia Bing left. She first went to W Town to visit her parents’ grave, then left W Town and embarked on her journey alone.

Four months later, by the end of October.

Xia Bing received a new email from Hai Jun.

Reading the contents, Xia Bing smiled.

Hai Jun’s studio was on the right track and thriving. Yi Yi returned to her own company and began her career as a strong professional woman. She and Hai Jun planned to get engaged in the early spring of next year and marry in the autumn. In his letter, Hai Jun asked her to tell Yi Yi that she must return for her engagement, threatening that if she didn’t, they could no longer be friends, and he would throw away the things he asked her to help organize. Reading this, Xia Bing imagined Yi Yi’s expression and smiled softly.

Hai Jun thanked Xia Bing in his heart for the second part of “Twelve”. Xia Bing recalled the previous editor who, after the studio was acquired, was directly ordered not to submit her manuscripts, and who had recently contacted her again… She tactfully refused to collaborate. It wasn’t out of grudge, but because she wanted to try a new beginning… a new life, new partners, hoping for a breakthrough in her writing.
