Yuan Jun had rented the room next to Xia Bing’s a few days ago to avoid troublesome parents. According to the landlord’s introduction, he knew his neighbor was an older woman, but he didn’t expect it to be Xia Bing.
If he hadn’t accidentally seen the woman on the neighboring balcony today, he wouldn’t have known they were neighbors. Since their last meeting at the hospital, Yuan Jun hadn’t seen Xia Bing for many days, and didn’t expect to encounter her at his own residence today.
Yuan Jun wasn’t angry that Xia Bing ignored him. He took the opportunity to look at her carefully, finally fixing his gaze on her red lips, thinking about what she would say when she saw him – certainly not pleasant words, but definitely something that would make him want to argue.
Yuan Jun’s hand unconsciously touched her lips, wondering how such a mouth could spew so many harsh words. The sleeping person let out an ‘mm’, and he quickly withdrew his hand as if shocked.
“Sleeping like a pig, she wouldn’t even know if someone carried her away,” Yuan Jun turned away, surveying her ‘boudoir’.
Looking at the scattered items in the room, Yuan Jun couldn’t help but turn and look at the sleeping woman. “Is this a place where a person lives, or a pig?” The room looked like it had been ransacked – could this really be a woman’s living space?
Yuan Jun spotted some books and idly picked out a few to take to the balcony.
He recalled the landlord introducing his neighbors, saying she absolutely met his principle of quietness – never knowing when she was in or out, or what she did. The landlord had even whispered that the woman in this apartment might be someone’s mistress…
“Such a lazy woman has a sugar daddy?” Yuan Jun couldn’t help but admire the sugar daddy’s courage. Based on her temperament, she didn’t seem like a mistress. He looked at the authors’ names on the books – all by the same person. Did she really like this author?
Yuan Jun casually opened a book and began reading quietly.
