Please Be My Princess – Part One

But when his hand was raised midair, the door suddenly opened. It was an old man holding a large bunch of keys. The old man looked in, seeing Tianye about to smash the window with a chair. He was surprisingly calm, and Tianye’s fierce eyes filled with anger seemed to only make the old man more composed.

Walking in, he looked at Tianye and said, “Young master, you’re awake. The master is waiting for you.” Despite being just a butler, he exuded an elegant, royal quality that made the angry Tianye unable to approach him.

Tianye stood dazed in the sunlight before regaining his spirit. “Old man, where is this place, and who is your master?” Tianye tried to appear composed, knowing he was definitely not in an ordinary place.

The old man took a step forward and said, “This is Singapore.”

The master here is the royal nobleman Si Ye.”

The Si Ye the old man mentioned was the Si Kun that Tianye knew, the kingpin of Singapore, with projects deeply embedded in every field, monopolizing the entire economic lifeline of Singapore. Yet all of this was legitimate, and no one would whisper otherwise because the Si Kun family had royal noble blood from Singapore, a family that had once dominated the entire Southeast Asia and was the top family in Singapore.

Tianye thought for a moment before understanding the situation. “Where is your master? I want to see him.”

The old man turned around, pushed the door, and gestured outside, “Please, follow me.”

Siku stepped forward and patted Tianye, who was a bit dazed, “Child, enjoy yourself here. I have a meeting, so I’ll leave first. This is the housekeeper. If you need anything when I’m not around, just find him.” Siku pointed to the old man next to Tianye.

Tianye would never accept someone else’s arrangements. He wanted to return to Hong Kong and find Meiyou.

Little did he know, Tianye’s father had long anticipated his reaction and had already arranged for his subordinates that during his stay in Singapore, no one could listen to his instructions or orders, including Hui.

Tianye couldn’t contact anyone and had no way to return to Hong Kong. He was certain he couldn’t leave this deep courtyard, with two armed guards stationed at every entrance.
