Please Be My Princess – Part One

Si Xiaoshuang was standing in front of the mirror wiping her hair. Her damp long hair and thin, knee-length white silk dress made her look agile and charming.

Tianye looked at Si Xiaoshuang, paused for a moment, and cleared his throat. Si Xiaoshuang then turned around quickly. Tianye smiled, “Heh, still so vain. Let’s go, we’re going to drink.”

Si Xiaoshuang felt uncomfortable being stared at and waved at Tianye, “Okay, you can go out first, I’m changing clothes.”

Tianye pursed his lips and walked out of Si Xiaoshuang’s room. Just as he was about to go downstairs to find Hui, he encountered him on the stairs. Tianye looked at the somewhat awkward Hui with a mischievous smile, “Oh, where are you going?”

Hui stammered with his hands behind his back, “I… I’m not… going up….”

Haha, isn’t this the cute mud monkey from the shop we passed on the way back from the beach? Si Xiaoshuang said it was quite cute?” Tianye leaped behind Hui and grabbed the cage in his hand, which contained a very cute, lively little mud monkey.

Hui’s face instantly turned red. He lowered his head, scratching his hand, standing there at a loss.

“What, that was a gift from Hui to me,” Si Xiaoshuang had just come out of her room and saw the scene between Tianye and Hui. She walked down, took the mud monkey from Tianye’s hand, held it in front of her eyes, and said with a smile, “Wow, how cute! Hui, thank you.” Si Xiaoshuang looked up at Hui, which made Hui even more embarrassed.

Several people were chatting happily. Tian Ye took a sip of his drink, put down his wine glass, and said to Si Xiaoshuang, “How is it? Having a good time?”

Si Xiaoshuang clapped her hands, excitedly saying, “Yes, it’s so fun! The best part is beating you. Haha!” Then she covered her mouth, giggling.

Hui, sitting on the side, was trying to hold back his laughter. He picked up his wine glass, turned to Tian Ye, and said, “Young Master, thank you. I’d like to toast you.” He then drank it all in one gulp.

Tian Ye clinked glasses with Hui and laughed, “Hey, don’t be so formal. When we’re alone, you can treat me like a brother.” He then finished his drink.
