If Hui hadn’t remembered Si Xiaoshuang’s preferences and bought her a mud monkey, would Si Xiaoshuang feel more gratitude and understanding of Hui’s thoughtfulness? If Hui hadn’t painfully given up his love and blessed Si Xiaoshuang and Tianye’s happiness at the restaurant, would Si Xiaoshuang discover Hui’s profound wisdom? If Hui hadn’t written those six large characters “Si Xiaoshuang, I love you” on the beach, would Si Xiaoshuang be moved and know that Hui is a romantic person who deeply loves her? If Hui hadn’t appeared when Si Xiaoshuang needed someone most in the haunted house, would she still put him first?
This world is so large that Meiyou has lived under Tianye’s feet for so many years, yet he cannot see; this world is so small that whenever Si Xiaoshuang needs care, Hui always appears first.
After Si Xiaoshuang and Hui got together, if Tianye were to play with them as before, it would always feel somewhat awkward, and he would feel like something was missing.
Every time Tianye smiled and saw Si Xiaoshuang and Hui off at the resort entrance, watching them walk far away before turning to walk alone to the seaside, standing on the beach and gazing at the boundless sea, Tianye would feel a glimmer of hope suddenly emerging in this vast ocean, excitedly watching them and calling out, feeling particularly happy.
However, after a few horn blasts, those ships would mercilessly disappear from Tianye’s sight, leaving him ultimately unfulfilled.
Tianye would say nothing, do nothing, just stand there and continue looking.
“Young Master,” someone called behind Tianye, and it was Hui.
Tianye suddenly turned around, looking behind him, hoping that each turn would reveal what he most desperately sought.
Tianye was stunned, then forced a smile and walked towards Hui, “Why are you two back? Weren’t you going to see the active volcano?”
They seemed to have abandoned all their sorrow and concerns, all immersed in this grand yet narrow sea area, indulging, shouting, playing, with happy laughter scattered in the seawater, finally disappearing into the horizon.
Tianye, at that moment, was happy.
One could only say that he had given up on Meiyu.
If Meiyu’s name were to disappear into the horizon like their laughter, then who would be Tianye Young Master’s destiny?
