Reincarnated Divine Couple

Yu Yi tied her long hair tightly at the back of her head, opened her terminal, and changed into a swimsuit – the fluorescent yellow one Meng Qing had picked for her on the first day. Wearing a swimsuit for the first time made her uncomfortable. Although it was a conservative one-piece style, the tight nylon fabric revealed her body’s curves.

She looked up and saw Meng Qing’s passionate gaze, smiled shyly at him, and immediately dove into the water.

The seawater was cool and pleasant. Even in the night, the near-shore water was clear enough to see the sea bottom.

She moved her arms in the water, practicing swimming techniques. This was her first time actually swimming. Floating in water for the first time made her somewhat nervous.

Meng Qing changed into swim trunks and entered the water, swimming about ten meters deep. Looking back and seeing she hadn’t followed, he treaded water and waited for her.”

Seeing his smile, Yu Yi took a breath and swam towards him, quickly reaching his side. She had now relaxed, realizing the skills from the memory package felt like her own – she just needed to relax and trust herself.

She softly answered in a low voice.

They quickly returned to the suite. As soon as they entered, Meng Qing immediately embraced her. Yu Yi closed her eyes shyly.

Before Yu Yi could react, a wet and hot sensation came from between her legs, causing her face to burn and her entire body to flush with extreme embarrassment. She struggled to escape, but he firmly held her legs, preventing her from moving.

She whispered, “How can you…”

But she couldn’t continue.

Early the next morning, Yu Yi was awakened by Meng Qing’s kiss. She opened her eyes with a smile, burying her head in his embrace, listening to his robust heartbeat. Love bloomed in her heart, and she gently kissed his chest.

Meng Qing pushed her away, laughing softly, “Don’t tempt me. We’re going out soon.”

Yu Yi asked, “Where are we going?”

Meng Qing said, “Just come with me.”

After breakfast, they drove to the pier on the southeast side of the island. Meng Qing took her onto a small yacht, sailing out to sea, stopping far from the island. He dropped anchor and started fishing, looking at Yu Yi with a double meaning, “Let’s see today’s luck and whether we can catch a big fish.”

Yu Yi laughed and glared at him, sitting down beside him.

It was very quiet at sea, with nothing to hear except the waves, and the recurring low water sounds would calm one’s heart.

Sitting quietly at the stern, looking at the scenery where sea met sky, waiting for fish to bite, with the person she loved most beside her, Yu Yi felt this moment was beautiful. She didn’t care whether they caught fish or where they went; as long as she was with him, everything was enjoyable.

The fishing rod began to move slightly. Meng Qing’s expression became focused. He held the rod with one hand and gripped the reel handle with the other, watching the line’s changes.

Yu Yi rested her chin, watching him.

His black hair was tousled by the sea breeze, short bangs flying in the air. His slender, delicate eyebrows slightly furrowed, clear and bright eyes fixed on the sea surface, thin lips pressed together, the corners slightly drawn back.

The corners of his mouth curved up, and he said in a low voice: “Got you.” While quickly reeling in the line.

Yu Yi looked out at the sea, the fishing line taut, Meng Qing alternating between pulling and releasing, wrestling with the fish underwater until gradually pulling it closer to the surface.

It was a big fish nearly a meter long. Meng Qing continued reeling in the line while moving to the stern of the boat near the water.

Yu Yi was watching him work when Meng Qing said: “Help me out, pass me the landing net.” She looked around and saw the long-handled landing net where Meng Qing had been sitting, picked it up and handed it to him.

Meng Qing shortened the fishing line, locking the reel when the fish was close to the surface, handed the fishing rod to Yu Yi to hold, and used the landing net to scoop the fish, gradually lifting it out of the water until the top of the net cleared the surface before lifting the fish fully.

The fish struggled violently in the net, but without water, it could barely exert any strength, merely thrashing in its death throes.

It was a brown fish with deep red spots, a grouper.

Meng Qing climbed onto the deck with the landing net, removed the fish, took out the hook, laid it flat and measured its length – from head to tail, it was eighty-seven centimeters long.

Then he did something unexpected – he lay down on the deck beside the fish and asked Yu Yi to take a photo of him with the fish, carefully instructing: “Make sure to capture the whole fish.”

Yu Yi suppressed her laughter, took a photo with the high-definition camera, and sent it to him through the terminal, also keeping a copy for herself.

Meng Qing wasn’t done yet. He waved her over to lie down on the other side of him, saying, “Come, let me take a photo with you on both sides.”

Yu Yi could no longer hold back her laughter, shaking her head and refusing to come over.

Meng Qing pulled her down, put his arm around her shoulder, and took a group photo with the high-definition camera. In the photo, Yu Yi was curled up, laughing continuously.

Meng Qing got up and looked at the photo, satisfied with the grouper whose gills were still moving, muttering: “Didn’t expect to catch such a big one…”

He looked at Yu Yi and asked: “This big guy must be over thirty kilograms. We can’t finish it, should we throw it back?”

Yu Yi had no objections, so Meng Qing picked up the fish and threw it back into the sea, then returned to the stern to continue fishing.

Yu Yi sat beside him and asked: “If you catch another one this big, will you still throw it back?”

Meng Qing said: “Of course, it would be a waste if we can’t eat it all.”

“Isn’t it a waste of time to catch and release like this?” Yu Yi asked with a laugh.

Meng Qing turned and kissed her, “I’ve changed to a size 10 hook, so I probably won’t catch such a big fish again. Besides, I already have a big fish by my side, so let’s leave these big fish for others.”

Yu Yi punched him, “Who’s the fish? Are you planning to eat me?”

Meng Qing looked surprised: “Didn’t we already do that last night? It was especially delicious.”

Yu Yi blushed, standing up: “Keep fishing, I’m going inside.”

Meng Qing grabbed her: “Don’t go, keep me company. How about I eat you instead?”

Yu Yi warned: “What do you have to eat? Stop talking nonsense or I’m really leaving.”

Meng Qing said seriously: “Aren’t dragonflies insects? Fish love eating insects, especially big fish that have grown to human size – these fish have become spirits, turning into human form to seduce men…”

Yu Yi laughed and hit him: “You’re the dragonfly demon!” Then she started walking to the cabin.

Meng Qing chased her, caught her, and pressed her down on the deck, whispering: “Want to eat a dragonfly?”

“No.”

“But you ate it last night, and the night before…”

Yu Yi turned away, laughing: “I regret it.”

Meng Qing leaned in, eyes laughing: “You’ve already eaten, it’s too late to regret now.” He kissed her, caressing her.

Yu Yi dodged, shy: “During the day, out in the open…”

Meng Qing said: “What does it matter, there’s no one else here.” His hand was already inside her clothes.

Yu Yi bit her lip, blushing, letting him touch her for a while, then reached to remove his t-shirt. Meng Qing raised his arms, letting her pull it over his head, then also began removing her clothes.

After a long while, he finally let her go, pulling her up and taking her into the cabin.

There was a shower inside. He pulled her in with him, turning on the tap. The first burst from the showerhead was cold, and Yu Yi quickly dodged the water stream, making Meng Qing laugh.
