Moments later, Ye Ye and her friends joined these newly met young men in the center of the dance floor, forming a small circle, excitedly dancing to the music… [From Paris to Rome: Chapter Sixteen, Unexpected Encounters 2] “I didn’t expect to see such beautiful Eastern faces in Paris!” From a VIP booth, four men, each distinct in appearance yet equally impressive, cast their gaze through the crowd to the three girls. “Ji, Hai, SKY, guess which country in Asia they are from?” The first man to speak had a radiantly handsome Eastern face, smiling as he addressed his companions. “Yang, are your boredom cells starting to boil again?” Hai, also with a strikingly handsome Eastern face, remarked. “Don’t you feel a sense of kinship when you see what might be a girl from our homeland in a foreign land? Ji, you agree, right?” Yang said. “I think they are Japanese,” Ji, who rarely spoke, unexpectedly offered his opinion. He was a true Japanese. “No, I think they are Korean,” Hai insisted, being Korean himself. “Wrong, they are Chinese!” Yang countered, naturally being Chinese himself! Sky remained silent, his blue eyes fixed intently on the beautiful girls opposite. “Let Sky decide; he’s more impartial!” Yang suggested, because Sky was a genuine German. “Alright, Sky, what do you say?” Hai asked, raising his well-shaped eyebrows. “They… are… Germans!” Sky said lightly, startling the three into disbelief. “No, no, are you sure, Sky? Are your eyes alright?” Yang asked in surprise. “Yes, are you okay? Since when did Germans have Eastern features?” Hai also questioned, puzzled. Ji, too, raised his eyebrows in disbelief. “Idiots, I think they are German-Chinese. Is that not okay?” Sky gave them a disdainful look. “Is that possible?” The three men were incredulous; Sky had come up with such an answer… Admirable… but was he still the typically rigorous German cool guy? “Why bother guessing? Just send someone to ask…” Ji suggested. “Let Sky go!” Hai said. “Why me?” Sky asked in astonishment. “Because you’re the only Westerner among us!” Yang declared confidently. “That… counts as a reason…” Sky could hardly agree with the reason they voted him for. “It does!” The three men said in unison. Sky rolled his eyes, preparing to get up… “Let go!” Du Miao Miao’s scream suddenly quieted the previously noisy bar. The musicians on stage stopped playing, and everyone in the dance floor turned their attention to the three beautiful Eastern girls in the center. Several burly men had surrounded Ye Ye and her friends, while the young men who had been dancing with them were pushed outside the crowd. Among the burly men, the leader with golden hair gave an evil smirk and grabbed Miao Miao’s hand, “No!” The man, with a hooligan’s demeanor, said defiantly. “Ye Ye, Qiu Yu, help me!” Miao Miao called out loudly for help from her sisters nearby. Ye Ye and Qiu Yu looked at the blond man, who was quite handsome, not the type to act like a thug without reason… Then they noticed the deep affection in his eyes as he looked at Miao Miao… “Ye Ye, Qiu Yu, hurry up! Beat them up!! Quick!” Miao Miao struggled hard. “Stop shouting; do you think your companions are superheroes? Beat us?”
