Shaogang sensed someone watching him and lifted his sleepy eyes to see the beautiful girl leaning against the railing, smiling at him—an angel, no, a fairy! Shaogang sat up, searching his memory; this girl looked familiar… His black eyes suddenly lit up with surprise… Ye Ye saw the recognition in Shaogang’s eyes; he was trying to remember who she was. They had met when they were kids, but for Ye Ye, it was so long ago that the memory was vague, yet she had seen photos of Shaogang growing up on her brother’s computer, so recognizing him was not hard. Ding ding ding — the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Students poured out of the classrooms, but Ye Ye leaned lazily against the railing, waiting for Shaogang to come out. Passing male students whistled in appreciation and turned back for a second look. Ye Ye responded with her confident, beautiful smile. Shaogang was sure this girl was waiting for him, and his memory served him well; this was the eldest daughter of the Qianye Family, the beautiful little sister he had seen while video chatting with Ye Yan – Ye Ye! Although surprised by her sudden appearance, Shaogang could guess her purpose. He got up and walked towards Ye Ye. Seeing Shaogang, nearly 186 cm tall, approaching, Ye Ye smiled; why were all the guys so tall nowadays? Thankfully, she wasn’t short… Ye Ye mused while observing. From Shaogang’s now clear eyes, she knew he had recognized her. “Miss?” Shaogang asked with a roguish grin. “No!” Ye Ye said coldly, then smiled, “I’m your big sister!” Because Shaogang had a half-sister, Shaoran Xiong, and Ye Ye’s father was sworn brothers with Uncle Xiong, Ye Ye was considered his big sister! Shaogang chuckled, “Alright, ‘big sister,’ what do you want?” The surrounding students were surprised to see the usually cool and silent Shaogang speaking so amiably to this Eastern beauty, stopping to watch from a distance, though they couldn’t understand what they were saying since Ye Ye and Shaogang were speaking in Chinese… “This weekend is Uncle Xiong’s birthday, and everyone hopes you, the eldest son, will grace the occasion!” Ye Ye got straight to the point. “If you’re here to persuade me, you must know the story behind it. So, I’m not going!” Shaogang said as he started walking away. “Brother Shaogang, please don’t be like this. After all, we are family. And everyone misses you!”
