After lunch, Ye Ye and the others returned to their respective classrooms. Ye Ye lay on her desk, browsing the internet out of boredom and video chatting with her fourth brother, discussing matters about Aunt Long and her father. “Ye Ye, this afternoon, you and Shirley will represent the school to welcome an esteemed guest and help with the translation…” Ye Ye’s class advisor, Willis, suddenly appeared and approached her desk. Ye Ye stood up, politely asking, “Teacher, may I know who the guest is?” “It’s the three major board members of the school. They’re here to discuss the expansion of the Elite Academy. You and Shirley must perform well; the school’s development hinges on today’s meeting!” Willis said with a smile. Shirley also came over: “Teacher, I’ve heard our three board members are quite famous. Are you sure you want to send me and Ye Ye?” Shirley asked playfully. “You two are fluent in six languages; if not you, then who? So, do your best!” Willis said with a ‘who else but you’ attitude. “Teacher, we’ll do our best! We just hope we can handle it!” Ye Ye said. “Don’t worry, most of the board members understand English, but the Korean board member is older and can only listen, not speak well. So, you’ll need to translate for him.” “Oh, that’s good!” Shirley and Ye Ye exchanged a smile and started to prepare. As per the school’s requirements, Ye Ye and Shirley changed into school uniforms—white lace-edged high-collar shirts with black crystal buttons, fitted black blazers, skirts with alternating black and coffee-colored checks, black knee-high socks, and small leather shoes. The two stunning university students were born anew. Ye Ye’s long, deep red hair flowed straight, setting aside her usual nightclub fairy vibe, she now looked like a delicate Chinese porcelain doll in her uniform. Shirley, with her short blonde hair, exuded enthusiasm, portraying the image of a bright Italian school belle!
