The Duke’s Affair – Part Two [Complited]

“Baron, go call uncle and sister for dinner!” Ye Ye nudged the Baron lying down, signaling him to call the stunned big statues. “Baron?” Nan Gong Xun frowned in confusion. “Woof—!” The Baron, upon receiving the order, excitedly wagged his tail and barked at the two handsome men. Nan Gong Xun looked down to see a six-month-old Samoyed pawing at his trousers… So it was the Baron… And he was actually its sister… Helpless… He laughed in spite of himself… Seeing Dean’s clear favoritism, he knew this wild cat was special… He sighed, exchanged a glance with Xi Men Xu, silently vowing to keep their distance from the wild cat in the future. As their mother said, the more beautiful a woman, the more dangerous… Ugh, what he was witnessing was the best live example… Xi Men Xu obediently went to his seat; he didn’t want to be called uncle by a dog!

Dinner began, and Jones and Xi Men Xu knew to eat their own meals, as they were used to it… Only Nan Gong Xun sat there, mouth agape, staring in disbelief at the scene unfolding before him… He kept doubting if he had woken up from the plane or was still dreaming…

Ye Ye continued to be picky, neatly picking out the dishes she didn’t like, especially those with soy sauce, into an empty plate… After Ye Ye finished picking, Dean patiently moved the dishes she liked from his plate to hers, then collected the ones she didn’t want back to his own… He could easily have the servants prepare a portion just for her taste, but he was willing to pamper her this way… If she wanted to be picky, so be it. If her nutrition was lacking, it didn’t matter; at worst, he’d give her some balanced vitamins…

[From Passion to Burning Passion: Seventy-Three, Days of Convalescence 2] For many days, Dean’s pampering of Ye Ye had become well-known to everyone.
