Ye Ye quickly approached the silver-black Chrysler, tapping on the closed rear window. The dark glass obscured her view, and Ye Ye shouted, “Dean, I know it’s you, come out, it’s not what you think!” She hadn’t deceived Dean or gone out to meet another man under false pretenses! Therefore, if it were true, Ye Ye would not argue, but this was indeed not the case, and what she feared most in life was being stubbornly misunderstood, especially by Dean… The window slowly descended, Ye Ye leaned on it, urgently speaking to the cold-faced Dean inside, “Dean, it’s not like that, really!” Dean looked at Ye Ye, his lake-blue eyes revealing no emotion, just his usual coldness, and said slowly, “You still haven’t learned how to be obedient…” “No, it’s not like that, that man is the son of my uncle who just had a birthday, we are not like that…” Ye Ye was eager to explain, her breath turning into white mist in the cold air, her hands reaching through the open window to grab Dean’s arm. Dean removed her hand, prying her fingers off one by one, his cold gaze fixed on her reddened nose from the cold, his tone distant and regal, like a king on a high throne, “I don’t need a woman who repeatedly challenges my dignity. Leave… Jones, drive on…” With that, the electric window slowly rose. In the night breeze, Ye Ye watched Dean disappear behind the window, her heart feeling as if she was being forced to stand on a cliff edge, trembling and panicked. She watched Dean’s motorcade slowly drive out of sight… She knew that a man as proud as Dean would never forgive her for kissing another man in front of so many of his subordinates, outside his own hotel… It was like trampling his dignity into the ground… But she really didn’t know he would see… and she wasn’t being promiscuous… No, she had to explain, this time it wasn’t her being wild… She didn’t want to be misunderstood like this, even if it meant a breakup, it shouldn’t be because of such a misunderstanding!
