The First Demon Empress

Until now, I thought everything he said was casual, but I didn’t expect this man to be my karma. His love and everything he gave me exceeded what I could bear. And ultimately, he gave me only total destruction.

Leaving the Palace (One)

I looked back several times, but there was still nothing behind me.

I laughed self-mockingly, laughing at my wild imagination and my own delusions.

Actually, I was happy. This imperial palace had confined me for so long, and I could finally escape this hell that had bound me for over a year.

“Let’s go!” I said joyfully, hooking my arm with Weiluo’s and walking forward.

“Ran Yan’er, you will be the only wife of Weiluo!” Just as I was lost in thought, Weiluo’s abrupt love words came again, making me unable to help but roll my eyes.

But before I could speak, a solemn and aged call made me suddenly look up.

“Wang Ye, long time no see. You’re quite rare. Actually seeing your figure at the palace gate.” The speaker dismounted from the carriage that had just passed by us.

I hadn’t originally noticed the carriage passing by, but the person emerging was someone I knew all too well. He was the father of this body’s original owner.

“Wang Ye, the gate of the Ran family is always open for you. It’s just that after so many years, I’ve finally seen you once!” Ran Lin frowned, shaking a folding fan in his hand.

Weiluo’s face still carried a light smile, but his eyes held a guard that others couldn’t understand.

As Ran Lin spoke, his eyes examined me, his sharp gaze coldly looking at my arm linked with Weiluo’s. A fleeting hatred in his eyes did not escape my notice.

“Wang Ye, who is this?” Ran Lin asked, his eyes full of deep disdain.

Weiluo held me, looking calm: “She is the princess I just asked Wang Xiong for! Doesn’t she look very similar to Hui’er!” His words made my body tremble.
