The Mysterious Bride of the Wind God

“Time limit… ah, 100 years would be fine.”

“Fans are reacting strongly to this. Do you have anything to say to them?”

“I hope those who like me understand that all my songs are sung for her. Those who truly care about me should be happy for me, as I’ve finally found my beloved again.”

Ya! Ye Fen turned off the TV. I can’t stay here any longer. This is my last chance to sever this unclear thread of emotion. I can’t indulge you anymore, or the gods will be angry, and we will both descend into hell.

Feng Jian Ya returned home to find another crowd of reporters at the door. He rudely drove them away, feeling utterly annoyed. He had already been interviewed; what was there to ask repeatedly?

“Ya, I saw the news.” Ye Fen stood by the window. “I’m going back to Taipei.”

“Is it not good in Dongjing?” He took off his coat and walked to her side.

“I no longer have a peaceful life; you’ve made everything a mess.”

“I’ll go with you; I won’t let you go alone.”

Ye Fen gave a pained smile, muttering to herself, “Then it loses its meaning.” She looked at him, “No, I’ll go alone.”

“Ye Fen, that’s too cruel.” He grabbed her hand. “What am I supposed to do without you by my side?”

“We haven’t seen each other for four years, and you’ve done quite well. Ya, let’s end it here, shall we?” She pulled away his hand. “This world isn’t yours to manipulate at your whim, you never asked about my feelings, and that’s even more cruel.”

She stepped back, “My mind is made up. If you really want me to be happy, please let me go.” She went upstairs to pack.

Should he really let her go? Should it really end here? Feng Jian Ya reluctantly followed her upstairs. Ye Fen, you can’t leave!

Ye Fen opened the door, suitcase in hand. Seeing him leaning against the wall, she pretended not to notice.

“Ye Fen, what should I do to make you stay?” He reached out to stop her.
