The Wary Affections of The CEO

He said this matter-of-factly, with an almost unignorable pride, as if her request for him to be nicer was a joke. She really wondered why she was putting up with this.

”Very good tradition. Keep it up.” She tossed her head and turned to open the door.

”Don’t go,” he approached from behind, reached over with his large hand, and pulled the door closed again, “I’ve already been very polite.”

”You haven’t,” she could feel his breath, they were so close that his chest was almost touching her back.

”Okay, I’m sorry,” his voice sounded behind her, extremely close.

”This position is not suitable for an apology,” she was somewhat nervous and didn’t dare turn her head back. They were far too close. “Would you mind stepping back a bit so I can turn around?”

He had essentially trapped her between his body and the door. This intimately close distance was making her heart race, and this was not a good sign.

”I can’t let you turn around.”

”Why? Do you want me to stand here for the rest of my life?” Facing the door in reflection? But she hadn’t done anything wrong, she just wanted to know the truth.

He sighed, “I want you to listen to me.”

”Will turning around prevent you from speaking?”

”Yes. Because I’ll want to kiss you, and then I won’t be able to finish what I want to say.”

”You’re despicable,” she couldn’t help but be glad she was facing away from him, otherwise he would easily see her blushing again because of his words.

  ”Speak, I’m listening.”

”I’m asking you not to tell anyone to protect Xueyue,” his tone was somewhat helpless.

”What?” The matter was related to Xueyue? The man who attacked like a madman was related to Xueyue? She was so surprised that she naturally turned to face him, “You said…”

But before she could finish her sentence, Ke Nanyu leaned down and kissed her, kissing her so naturally, with a lingering and warm feeling.

Half a moment, Ke Nanyun gently bit her lower lip, ending the kiss, and said hoarsely: “I warned you.”

Xing Can’s face was flushed like thin wine, and when he kissed her, she felt a considerable sense of loss. She vaguely felt that one kiss was not enough.
