This meant that fate had been shattered, and Verdaia had truly escaped the curse and gained freedom. The resistance paid for with blood and tears was not in vain.
Naily’s vision blurred slightly, and she raised her hand to wipe her eyes. When she opened them again, she had penetrated the conical light shield, leaving this newly reborn world forever. She had witnessed the birth of a new order and had reached the moment she must depart. Verdaia, free from divine punishment, no longer needed a system, and without a system, there was no reason for her to continue existing – in this completely new Verdaia world, there was no place for Naily.
