The Yandere Demon King’s Obsession 3

Naily felt somewhat guilty about her unilateral communication blackout, but she preferred to temporarily set aside certain emotional issues to avoid distracting herself. Now that the exam was over, her only shield had completely disappeared.

What should she do next?

This was a problem more heavy and tricky than she had anticipated.

“Hey, hey, you’re spacing out again… I’m talking to you…” Xiaobai nudged Naily with her elbow, seeing her bewildered expression, and dramatically sighed, “I just said, let’s go to the flower shop at the university road entrance later.”

“Ah? Oh, okay.” Naily guiltily lowered her gaze, pausing before asking, “Why go to the flower shop? Valentine’s Day is still far away…”

Xiaobai rolled her eyes: “This has nothing to do with that! My dad is having dinner with old classmates and his mentor tonight. He’s too lazy to go out and doesn’t want to order online, so he’s making me help.”

“I’ve been studying so hard lately, how would I know such gossip…” Naily gave Xiaobai a sidelong glance, pulling out her phone and turning it on. Almost simultaneously with receiving signal, the number of new messages grew exponentially.

Naily glanced at a number without a saved contact but memorized by heart, twitching her mouth, and then boldly said to Xiaobai’s curious gaze: “Advertising texts are just getting more and more numerous lately, flooding in as soon as I turn on the phone.”

Xiaobai didn’t suspect anything: “I received several pushy sales calls starting with ‘3’ yesterday, and I just yelled at them before hanging up.”

In just a few words, they had already arrived at their destination.

Naily glanced at the flower shop sign, following Xiaobai through the glass door into the store.

The shop was much more spacious inside than it appeared from outside, with various flowers sorted by type and color, neatly placed in white plastic buckets along the wall, filling the view with vibrant colors not belonging to winter.

The indoor heating was strong, and the damp flower fragrance hit them immediately upon entering.

Naily almost instantly noticed the roses in the shop – white, red, pink, yellow, blue… This shop seemed to have more roses than usual, and the flowers looked fresh and dewy, as if existing in a different season from the harsh cold outside.
