This Princess is Tired of Living

The outside air was refreshing! She thought the scenery at Hundred Flowers Villa was first-class, but the view down the mountain was even more delightful.

“Excuse me, how do I get to Hundred Flowers Villa?” A young, handsome gentleman dressed in fine clothes suddenly appeared before Lan Ling’er and asked softly.

“What? Oh, just keep walking, and you’ll see a large house. That’s Hundred Flowers Villa!”

“Outsiders always called Lin Youhua Villa ‘Hundred Flowers Villa,’ a fitting name with flowers throughout.

“May I ask which person you are from Hundred Flowers Villa?” the gentleman inquired with a faint smile.

“A friend of the young mistress of Hundred Flowers Villa!” Lan Ling’er thought he was strange for asking so many questions and walked past him.

“Stop right there! Since you’re familiar with everything in Baihua Manor, lead the way!” He grabbed her shoulder.

“Who are you? What business do you have in Baihua Manor?” she demanded, sensing his aggression against the manor. She daren’t become an accomplice. (I want to die, so this works out for me!)

“Less talk! Lead me quickly!” he forcefully gripped her shoulder, his calm voice masking underlying anger.

“You’re no saint. Do you think I’ll comply?” she thought, realizing she wasn’t afraid of death, but felt reluctant to thank this ‘benevolent’ brother after dying.

“What an arrogant tone! Die!” His eyes turned cold as he struck her viciously.

“Thud!” She fell to the ground, blood spilling from her mouth.

“Will you take me?”

He slowly drew a sword from his waist, pointing it at the fallen Lan Ling’er.

“No!” She bravely wiped the blood from her mouth, glaring at the white-faced scholar. Though just a woman, she understood that dignity was her greatest pride.

“No? Then die!” He sneered, taking out several throwing darts. “A woman like you who doesn’t know her place doesn’t deserve to be killed by my sword. These darts are enough to end your life!” He put away his sword and spread the darts, his expression cold.

“If you’re going to kill me, just do it! Why so long-winded!” These ancient people sure talk too much. If they don’t kill her, someone might rescue her soon—how annoying!

“Fine! I’ll make your death more comfortable!” He glanced at her, the darts already flying towards her.
