Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Tao Yu looked puzzled but obediently complied. Previously, one was sitting and one standing, and she could easily look at Yue Linze. Now, squatting down, she had to tilt her head back to see his expression, inadvertently exposing her delicate neck.

Yue Linze seemed somewhat satisfied, his expression slightly softening. Under Tao Yu’s gaze, he expressionlessly took out an exquisite box.

Tao Yu curiously watched his long fingers, then saw the box snap open, revealing a delicate brooch.

“How beautiful…” Tao Yu exclaimed upon seeing the brooch. It wasn’t that she was inexperienced, but the brooch was truly lovely. Butterfly-shaped, with wings entirely encrusted with pink diamonds, and a light blue gemstone in the center. The fresh color gave a girlish feel, while the materials suggested this girlishness was quite expensive.

Yue Linze snorted at her surprised expression and moved the brooch towards her. Tao Yu understood his intention and leaned back, almost falling: “Mr. Yue, this is too precious. I can’t accept it.”

Moreover, even if she accepted it, she couldn’t bring it back to the real world. She might as well use this opportunity to demonstrate her noble character that disdains money, potentially improving her image.

Provided Yue Linze doesn’t cry and beg her to take it.

“Come here,” Yue Linze said displeased. Tao Yu immediately compromised, even leaning forward to make it easier for him to pin the brooch.

Unfortunately, Yue Linze seemed inexperienced, his fingers lingering just below her collarbone, unable to attach the brooch. His fingers would occasionally touch her chest, which initially made Tao Yu flinch, but she was scolded each time.

She could only endure the strange feeling and watch him. After a while, she couldn’t help but say, “Mr. Yue, I’m glad I trust your character. Otherwise, I’d think you were taking advantage of me.”

Yue Linze’s fingers paused, slowly raising his head to look at her face. They were already very close, and when he looked up, Tao Yu momentarily felt he might kiss her.

“You’re not worthy,” he said in a lowered voice, his serious eyes making these words sound particularly sincere.

… To hell with his sincerity. Tao Yu put on a professional fake smile: “Please continue.”
