Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

One program per section, and no one was going to escape. Tao Yu stood under the blazing sun with a cold laugh, then turned and walked towards the cafeteria.

Yue Linze had been expecting Tao Yu to come since morning. When it was almost noon and she still hadn’t appeared, he lay down and continued to daydream.

He hadn’t been lying down for long when familiar footsteps approached. He curved his lips slightly and remained motionless.

He thought another plastic bag would be thrown in, but the door opened directly. He moved his eyebrows slightly and lazily said, “Is the little prison guard going to release me on the second day?”

“I encountered some troublesome matters this morning and didn’t come to bring you breakfast. Get up and eat,” Tao Yu said, kicking his foot and sitting on the bed after he moved, handing him the packaged meal box.

Yue Linze opened it, somewhat surprised. “Oh, there’s meat today.”

“Eat quickly. I have to go on patrol later,” Tao Yu frowned, but after this urging, she said nothing more.

Yue Linze glanced at her, feeling that she seemed to have much more patience today. Puzzled, he ate even more slowly.

However, Tao Yu didn’t criticize him further and waited patiently. Yue Linze’s eyebrows moved, “Little prison guard, if I finish this meal box, I won’t be able to wash it conveniently.”

“I’ll wash it,” Tao Yu replied casually.

Yue Linze’s lips curved up, “But what if I can’t finish it?”

“I’ll throw it out,” Tao Yu frowned, wondering why he was being so verbose.

“But that would be wasteful. What if…” Yue Linze started to laugh.

Tao Yu looked at him warily, “What?”

“Come here, and I’ll tell you,” Yue Linze beckoned her with his finger, looking mysterious.

Tao Yu’s first reaction was to tell him to get lost, but remembering she needed his help, she reluctantly moved closer, “What…”

Before she could finish her question, a steamed bun was stuffed into her mouth. As she instinctively opened her mouth, Yue Linze successfully fed her the food.

Surprised by how smoothly it went, Yue Linze immediately laughed, “We might as well eat together.”

Tao Yu tightened her fingers, holding the steamed bun coldly, unsure whether to eat or not. Finally, because she didn’t like wasting food, she chewed and swallowed, then gritted her teeth, “Are you done? I need to go back.”

Yue Linze smiled, noticing a bit of steamed bun crumbs at the corner of her mouth, and reminded her, “Prison guard, your mouth.”

“What evil plan are you plotting now?” Tao Yu asked expressionlessly.

Yue Linze looked wronged, “You have something on your mouth.”

“Do you think I’d believe that?” Tao Yu looked at him like he was a hoodlum.

Yue Linze was helpless, “It’s true.”

“If I believed you, I’d be an idiot,” Tao Yu shot him a cold laugh.

Yue Linze laughed and reached out to pull her while bending down to preserve the “evidence”. Tao Yu didn’t expect him to grab her and tried to retreat, but when she stood up, she stepped on Yue Linze’s shoe and didn’t put enough force on her foot.

Yue Linze had calculated her resistance when he pulled her. When she didn’t struggle and instead crashed into him while he was bent over, his lips accidentally touched the corner of Tao Yu’s mouth.

The air froze for a second. The next moment, Tao Yu pushed him away, forgetting all about her program and anger, and roared, “What are you doing?!”

Yue Linze looked at her innocently, his ears turning slightly red. He noticed the steamed bun crumbs were gone from her mouth, unconsciously touched his own lips, and was satisfied to find the “evidence” was still there.

“Prison guard, you’re an idiot,” Yue Linze pinched the white bit and held it in front of her, looking as pleased as if he’d made a great harvest.

Tao Yu: “…

Yue Linze decisively pretended not to see, smiling and saying, “Little prison guard, I’m leaving now. Starting tomorrow, don’t come to deliver meals anymore.”

He strode away after speaking.

“Stop!” Tao Yu suddenly raised her voice, then immediately softened her tone, realizing she needed his help.

Yue Linze looked at her questioningly, “Is there something else, little prison guard?”

“For the sake of me delivering meals to you for so many days, can you help me with something?” Tao Yu coughed, a faint blush spreading across her face.

Yue Linze looked at her with interest, “Tell me first.”

Tao Yu glanced at him and explained the welcome party matter.

Yue Linze raised an eyebrow, surprisingly surprised, “There’s really an inspection team?”

“Yes, didn’t I tell you long ago?” Although it was troublesome, Tao Yu felt inexplicably justified, knowing her casual lie had accidentally become reality.

So her kindness these past days wasn’t because she was interested in him. Yue Linze blinked, suddenly realizing that if the inspection team was real, her having a fiancé must also be true?

He suddenly felt unhappy.

“Li Xun said if you perform a program, he’ll also have people perform. Can you get your subordinates to actively participate, even just singing a song?” Tao Yu looked at him seriously.

This time, she had deliberately taken a roundabout approach, hoping Yue Linze would feel too awkward to refuse. Even without this tactic, she couldn’t let her alternate personality go hungry.

Yue Linze nodded repeatedly, then under her expectant gaze, said, “No.”

“…Are you serious?” Tao Yu was first speechless, then furious after seeing him nod, “Ungrateful wolf, spit out everything you’ve eaten from me these days!”

Yue Linze looked entirely innocent, “It’s already digested. I can’t spit it out. If you want compensation, I have nothing, so I can only compensate with myself.” He started to unzip his pants.

Tao Yu, stunned for a moment, “…My god, why does this big shot have such a disgusting alternate personality?!”

Tao Yu coldly watched him, making no move to stop him.

Yue Linze’s movements slowed, and after fully unzipping, he held his waistband, looking surprisingly at Tao Yu, “Really continue?”

“You wanted to compensate me, right? Continue,” Tao Yu didn’t believe his face could be that thick.

The facts proved otherwise. As soon as she spoke, Yue Linze pulled her close, pinning her against the wall. Tao Yu was stunned, expressionlessly drawing her baton.

Yue Linze laughed, immediately releasing her, casually zipping up and saying, “Performing isn’t a big deal, but if only our sixth district performs while fifth district doesn’t, my brothers would lose face.”

Tao Yu frowned, “Li Xun already said if you perform, he’ll perform.”

“Why must we go first?” Yue Linze’s eyes narrowed slightly, looking leisurely at her, “How about this – you make them go first. If they’re willing, we won’t make things difficult for you.”

Tao Yu coldly stared, “What’s the difference?”

“Of course there’s a difference. The order of registration is about face. Sixth district won’t agree before fifth district does,” Yue Linze’s face showed rare seriousness.

Is that so? It sounds quite interesting. Yue Linze said casually.

The fat man was stunned. “Interesting?”

“Yes, this kind of activity has never been held here before. It’s quite fresh,” Yue Linze said calmly.

“No, boss, you’re not thinking of having the brothers participate, right? Even if you find this fresh, let’s pretend those prison guards don’t exist,” the fat man said anxiously. “Why should we from the sixth district perform when the fifth district is sitting below?”

No one is inferior to anyone else. Why should they serve the fifth district?

“So, why not let them sign up too?” Yue Linze chuckled lightly.

The fat man laughed absurdly, “How is that possible? Li Xun is all about saving face. He definitely won’t let his people come out and embarrass themselves.”

“Who can say for sure? Maybe he actually wants to participate,” Yue Linze stretched lazily and walked forward indifferently.
