Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

“No need, Miss Zhou. Linze has me, so how could he need anyone else?” Tao Yu walked out with a smile, cursing the brainless woman a thousand times in her heart. She hadn’t originally planned to intervene, but if this woman continued to dawdle, Yue Linze’s inner hostility would only grow heavier.

Zhou Yanran hadn’t expected another woman in the mansion. She stared wide-eyed at Tao Yu, wanting to tell herself this was a maid, but Tao Yu’s clothes told her otherwise.

“Linze, I’ve been waiting for you all day,” Tao Yu smiled and walked over, sitting next to Yue Linze, her fair, small hand familiarly hooking his arm.

Yue Linze glanced at her sideways and was about to speak when Tao Yu leaned close to his ear, speaking in a voice only the two of them could hear: “Getting angry first means you’ll lose.”

She spoke in a tone like coaxing a child. A hint of ridicule flashed in Yue Linze’s eyes; he hadn’t expected this woman, though stupid, was perceptive enough to see he was on the verge of anger, and was much smarter than this Zhou Yanran.

“You, you two…” Zhou Yanran looked at them in disbelief.

Tao Yuqiao smiled: “Miss Zhou might have misunderstood. First, Lin Ze really has no interest in you, and secondly, the reason he doesn’t go out often is because I like staying at home, and he’s just keeping me company.”

“Impossible, absolutely impossible!” Zhou Yanran looked pleadingly at Yue Linze.

Yue Linze was already tired of this woman. Seeing her looking at him pitifully, he felt even more disgusted: “Get lost. Don’t make me repeat myself.”

“Impossible! Absolutely impossible! How could you have a girlfriend?” Zhou Yanran suddenly became agitated.

Tao Yu looked at her with compassion: “Miss Zhou, I understand your feelings, but please have some self-respect. Someone as excellent as Linze would naturally have a girlfriend.” As she spoke, she gently placed her small hand on the back of Yue Linze’s hand.

When her soft hand touched his cold hand, Yue Linze raised an eyebrow but did not refuse her touch.

Seeing this, Zhou Yanran felt as if the sky had collapsed. Her supposed sympathy and pity now felt like a slap in the face, making it difficult for her to even breathe.
