Fang Qing’s “Trap of the Noble CEO”
Chapter 1 – Switzerland, University of Bern
On a leisurely afternoon, three girls of different nationalities gathered under a tree’s shade, chatting and studying.
“Ah…” a brunette girl sitting on the grass let out a big yawn. Her name was Mina, a classmate and roommate of Androlly.
“It’s such a nice day, yet you’re yawning so much,” the Taiwanese girl, Xu Aier, couldn’t help but tease her.
“The weather is indeed quite nice,” Androlly, who was sitting at a small stone table and writing furiously, also chimed in.
This country was covered in ice and snow during autumn and winter, with temperatures rising only in summer, barely reaching around twenty degrees. But for the cold-resistant Swiss, this was already considered a sunny day.
“These annoying graduation exams – if it weren’t for the test, I’d be out driving with Chuck right now,” Mina pouted, her face full of unwillingness.
“Mina, if I’m not mistaken, you’re about to fail ‘Economic Development History’ – the professor says this is your last chance at the final exam,” Androlly reminded her.
Androlly was a typical Western girl, having grown up in Europe. Her nationality was Monaco. Because her parents were stationed at the Swiss embassy, she had moved to Switzerland with her parents at fourteen. Four years ago, she entered the university’s humanities department with excellent grades, and eight years had already passed.
She heard that next month the government would recall her parents and intended to give her father an important diplomatic position.
She was happy about her father’s promotion, and with graduation approaching, she was glad to return to her country to work and serve.
“Right, once you graduate, you can go back to Canada with Chuck, and then you can do whatever you want,” Xu Aier said in fluent German, giggling.
In Switzerland, French and German were commonly spoken. When the three were together privately, they chose German as their communication tool, especially Androlly, who had received rigorous language education and could speak five languages fluently.
“Whenever I think about my future with Chuck, I get frustrated. My parents don’t approve of me going to Canada with him,” Mina sighed, thinking about her complicated romantic situation.
