Beauty’s Doom

“You remember me, you really remember me!” I rushed up and excitedly hugged him; that damned voice had actually deceived me again.

Xi Lin Yan’s expression softened, he rubbed my hair, half doting and half reproachful, “Silly girl, I was poisoned and injured, not brain-damaged. How could I possibly forget you!”

I contentedly nestled in his embrace, playing with a strand of hair on his forehead, “As long as you’re safe, I’ll accept any punishment!”

“This is what you said!” Xi Lin Yan revealed a triumphant smile, “Then I’ll punish you by marrying me and rebuilding Xiyue Fortress together!”

“Okay!” I smiled and winked at him, sweetly agreeing.

Xi Lin Yan pointed his index finger at my nose, laughing, “Shameless woman, agreeing so readily. Tell me, have you been coveting me for a long time?”

I playfully stuck out my tongue, “Yes, yes! I’ve been coveting you for ten years. Is Young Master Xi Lin satisfied with this answer?”

“Hahaha—” Xi Lin Yan laughed heartily, “Did I tell you that from the first time we met, when you slapped me, I had already decided you would be my bride in this lifetime?”

“No, but I know now!”

Xi Lin Yan smiled mischievously, leaning close, “So, considering my deep love for you, is there a special reward?”

“Of course…” I smiled extremely gently. Just as he happily pointed to his cheek, indicating I should kiss him, I suddenly pulled away and slowly said the second half, “No!”

My movement was quick, but Xi Lin Yan was even faster. Before I could fully leave his embrace, he pulled me close, saying with a bad smile, “Since you won’t give it, I’ll take it myself!”

Then, he gently lowered his head, his soft lips covering mine. I didn’t struggle, but obediently closed my eyes, enjoying the wonderful sensation, lips and tongues intertwining, boundless passion…

Fate, No One Can Escape (1)

The afternoon breeze blew exceptionally comfortably. Just as I stepped out of the courtyard gate, I suddenly heard Xi Lin Yan’s voice behind me, laden with suppressed anger, “Dead woman, where are you trying to go this time?”

I awkwardly turned around, smiling apologetically, “Hehe, I’m just going for a casual walk, I’ll be right back!”
