Because of the earthquake, all the buildings in Hezhou County had collapsed, with rubble everywhere. The road back to the city was blocked by debris, trapping them for several days. After a moment of silence, Lin Mengmeng wiped the dust from her eyes and stood up to continue treating the injured.
