She wasn’t receiving flowers for the first time, and those flower bouquets usually ended up in the trash can! She couldn’t understand why the secretary was acting strange today. She was usually quite smart.
“I can’t sign on your behalf. The sender specifically requests personal receipt,” the secretary said softly.
“Must be in person?” Xia Xi was surprised. Since when did flower delivery have so many rules? “What if I’m not in the office?”
“Then we’ll wait until you are,” the secretary’s expression looked peculiar.
