Girl, I Will Spoil You

Leng Youlan smiled, satisfied with the response. She had a way of making others comply with her whims. “Good. Maybe you’ll learn something about respect along the way.”

The atmosphere in the kitchen shifted as the weight of the conversation settled.

“Youjin, Dali Kaluda,” Leng Youlan turned her gaze towards them, “make sure Lili Fenya Leite follows through. I’ll be in my room.”

With that, she left the kitchen, her presence lingering like an uninvited guest. The three women exchanged glances, a mix of relief and unease filling the air.

“You think she really means it?” Youjin broke the silence, her voice low.

“She does,” Dali Kaluda replied, anxiety creeping into her tone. “We need to keep an eye on Lili.”

“Let’s just hope she doesn’t take too long,” Lili Fenya Leite muttered, her expression a blend of defiance and resignation.

The kitchen continued to buzz with the remnants of drama, but the focus had shifted. They had a task ahead, one that weighed heavily on their minds.

Leng Youlan looked at their pained expressions and laughed inwardly. However, her tone remained calm. “Lian, shall we stop disturbing our future sisters-in-law’s meal?” She stood up and addressed the three women struggling, “Dear future sisters-in-law, enjoy your meal. I won’t disturb you further. Also, I hope you’ll clean up the kitchen after finishing.”

Youlan looked at Leng Youlan’s departing back and shivered. This woman was terrifying. She was secretly glad she hadn’t planned to make an enemy of her.

[Volume 2: 10, The Demonic Wife]

Leng Youlan stretched lazily and opened her bright eyes. She had been incredibly sleepy, seemingly sleeping more in these few days than in all her previous years combined. She gently caressed her flat belly and murmured, “Baby, good morning!”

“Dong, dong” sounds rang out, and a servant’s voice came through the door, “Miss, it’s time for breakfast.”

Leng Youlan slowly got up, went to the bathroom to freshen up, changed into casual home clothes, put on large black-framed glasses, and braided her hair into two black braids. Satisfied with her appearance in the mirror, she walked towards the bedroom door.

“Are the others up?” she asked the servant while walking to the dining room.

“Yes, Miss,” the servant respectfully replied.

“Did Lifenya Lite clean the villa thoroughly last night?”

“Yes, Miss.”

It seems this Lifenya Lite is quite good. Perhaps she could be of use later.”

Leng Youlan thought to herself as she entered the dining room.

Eugene, Dali, and Lifenya stood on the left side of the dining table, while Yan and Youlan stood on the right. The others had breakfast in the side building. As for Snow, Leng Youlan had sent her to take care of Luisan in the side building.

Leng Youlan adjusted her large black-framed glasses and said calmly, “Everyone sit down and eat. I don’t like eating alone.” Seeing no movement, she continued, “I order you to sit down for breakfast!” Her calm tone carried an undeniable authority.

“Yes.” “Yes,” Youlan and Yan were the first to sit.

Leng Youlan looked at the three women on the left, “Future sisters-in-law, are you satisfied with your culinary skills from yesterday?”

“Satisfied, satisfied, very satisfied!”

Leng Youlan bypassed the eager Eugene and asked the other two, “And you?”

Dali began to sweat, remembering the black, unappetizing food she had eaten. But fearing she would ruin her impression, she suppressed her nausea and said, “Satisfied.”

“I’m not satisfied,” Lifenya’s words sparked a playful glint in Leng Youlan’s eyes.

“Why?”

“Learning to cook isn’t something that happens overnight. It was my first time cooking, so it’s normal not to be satisfied,” Lifenya said composedly.

Leng Youlan felt even more favorable towards Lifenya, wondering what talents she might possess. Though thinking this, her face remained expressionless.

Leng Youlan calmly announced the result of the conversation, “Since Eugene and Dali are so satisfied with their skills, from now on, you’ll be responsible for three meals, with full kitchen access. Just remember to clean up afterwards.”

Ignoring the pale faces of the two women, she continued, “Lifenya, future sister-in-law, you’ll have meals with me. Once you’re satisfied with your cooking skills, you’ll enjoy the same treatment as the other two.”

Youlan and Yan couldn’t hold back their laughter. Their mistress was truly impressive, seemingly giving special treatment while actually tormenting them.

Lifenya Lite was curious about this woman who claimed to be the villa’s mistress’s sister. She felt this woman seemed to know something about her.

The summer sun was intense, with a 45-degree temperature that could be described as scorching. Not a breeze stirred, and the oppressive heat continuously invaded one’s nerves. Just walking a few steps caused sweat to flow.

Leng Youlan sat by the floor-to-ceiling window in the hall, holding a cup of rich milk, with documents from Shang Gushuishui on the table.

The air conditioning was perfectly adjusted, making the summer heat imperceptible. Her eyes occasionally scanned the people outside, a cold smile making others shudder.

Behind her stood Youlan and Yan, recently freed from their ordeal. “How are you feeling?” Leng Youlan asked without turning, sensing their painful expressions. “Go rest. Have the housekeeper replace you. This housekeeper needs to be dealt with for taking money to arrange women in the villa to seduce her child’s father.”

“Yes. Yes,” the two couldn’t help but sigh for the butler, wondering if his old body could bear it. They could only blame him for provoking their demon-like mistress! They swore they would never provoke this woman again, who was ruthless not only to her enemies but also to her own people.

They just laughed a bit and were punished to stand under the scorching sun for two hours, with the pretense of being supervisors, but it was purely revenge.

Leng Youlan couldn’t help but find it amusing seeing them flee so quickly. If they were like this after two hours, wouldn’t the women outside be in an even more miserable state?

At ten in the morning, when Eugène and Dali had finally finished breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen.

“Future sisters-in-law, are you both done?

Though slow, it’s still clean enough,” Leng Youlan said, ignoring the two nearly exhausted people while examining the kitchen.

Noticing the two hadn’t responded, Leng Youlan calmly said, “I know you’ve worked hard. I’ve prepared drinks. Shall we sit and chat?”

“Miss, I’d like to go back to my room and rest,” Eugène was already disgusted by the oil and smoke smell on her body and wanted to take a bath and relax.

“Is that so! Then Dali, my future sister-in-law, can keep me company. You must want to hear about my brother, right?” Leng Youlan asked Dali.

“Of course!” Dali said excitedly, incredibly curious about this mysterious homeowner.

“Well, Miss, I suddenly don’t want to go back to my room. I’ll chat with you too,” Eugène wasn’t about to let Dali have all the attention.

Leng Youlan looked at the two before her, thinking to herself, “The fish are hooked.”

In front of the large floor-to-ceiling window, Leng Youlan, Eugène, and Dali sat together. Three cups of steaming milk sat on the table before them.

Eugène and Dali thought they had definitely gained more than Liffanya – exclusive information about the mysterious master! But the drinks before them didn’t seem to please them.

Leng Youlan saw the two looking as if they had a grudge against the milk, feeling immensely satisfied.

Girls like them were used to coffee and naturally had no good impression of milk.

“Don’t you like milk? I can change it to coffee, but my brother says drinking coffee will darken a woman’s skin and accelerate aging,” Leng Youlan said calmly.
