Jing Xin sighed, recalling the troubling matter from that morning. They say the morning sets the tone for the day, and Shan Shan had dropped a bombshell, ruining her mood.
As soon as Shan Shan entered and sat down, she stared at Jing Xin with a strange expression, looking like she wanted to say something but hesitated. Jing Xin sensed this but remained quiet, as Shan Shan always labeled her as reserved.
After a moment, Shan Shan broke the silence, speaking with a sour expression: “Jing Xin, I thought you and Jiang Xiangyang were a couple, but it turns out he was just a cover. You actually like Wang Luozhou. Did you two get together during the last basketball game? You’re not being a good friend, capturing both of A University’s most famous figures!”
Jing Xin was confused. She touched Shan Shan’s head, then her own, muttering, “I don’t seem to have a fever. Why are you talking nonsense?”
Shan Shan slapped away her hand, her big eyes filled with grievance. Finally, she exclaimed, “Jing Xin, you’re so unfair! You know I like Wang Luozhou, yet you’re stealing him from me. You can’t take Wang Luozhou!” Tears welled in her eyes, but she tilted her head back to prevent them from falling.
Now it was Jing Xin’s turn to feel helpless, unable to tolerate the situation.
Looking at her innocent expression, one might think Jing Xin had done something terrible to her.
Remembering an incident with Jiang Xiangyang, Jing Xin decided she needed to educate Shan Shan. Her imagination was running wild.
“Ding Shanshan, are you done? I don’t know Wang Luozhou. During the last basketball game, we were at least twenty meters from the court. If he stood next to me now, I wouldn’t recognize him, let alone be dating him. Shan Shan, I find your imagination unacceptable. If you want to fantasize, at least choose a different female lead. Stop making me the protagonist every time.”
Jing Xin finished her rant and realized her language skills were strong.
