Lone Hawk

He understood his mother’s intentions, sighed helplessly, and pulled her into his embrace. This time, he had completely surrendered; he didn’t hate her as much as he had imagined.

Jiang Xiangyang walked into a small teahouse by the roadside, followed by Jing Xin. It was strange to have a teahouse here, surrounded by chemical factories. The pungent smell alone was enough to turn one’s stomach.

A young woman sitting at the counter saw Jiang Xiangyang and rose, calling out softly, “Xiangyang, why are you here at this time?”

Jing Xin looked up to survey her. What a beautiful woman!

A head of wheat-colored wavy hair cascaded to her slender waist, framed by a pointed oval face and a pair of elongated peach blossom eyes that seemed to bewitch one’s soul. Her cherry-like lips were naturally red, and her body had perfect proportions. This must be the “bombshell” Jiang Xiangyang had mentioned.

Jing Xin lowered her head somewhat self-consciously as Jiang Xiangyang pulled her into a secluded private room. The door closed behind them, blocking the curious gaze from outside.

As Jing Xin studied her, Ruan Hongling’s sharp eyes locked onto her. Having navigated various entertainment venues since she was fourteen, Ruan Hongling had encountered many beautiful women, but her first impression of Jing Xin was one of purity. The girl’s soft hair, delicate white skin, and captivating eyes conveyed a sense of otherworldly innocence.

Her lowered head reminded Ruan Hongling of the saying about the gentleness of a downcast glance, like a water lotus shy in the breeze. It perfectly captured the girl’s reserved nature. Ruan Hongling sighed.

In the small, dim private room, Jiang Xiangyang sat smoking, his sharp gaze fixed on Jing Xin. She nervously clenched her fists, palms sweaty, waiting for him to speak. The silence was suffocating, making her heart race.

Jiang Xiangyang extinguished his cigarette and moved close to her. Without warning, he pulled Jing Xin in and pressed his lips forcefully against hers.

The heat radiated through her body, overwhelming her senses. She breathed in the light tobacco mixed with fresh grass, surprisingly enjoying the scent.

Jing Xin’s hand pressed against his chest as he wrapped one arm around her waist and cradled her head, muttering a curse, “Damn, couldn’t she be a bit taller?” He kissed her with an intensity that felt consuming.
