Loving Care for the Yandere – Part One

Xu Cheng’an’s eyes were filled with tears, glancing at her before lowering his head. He didn’t speak, but the grievance in his eyes was almost tangible, making Chen Jing’s heart soften, and she hugged him.

Xu Cheng’an hugged her back, his chin resting on her shoulder, hands tightly gripping her waist. Tears slid from the corner of his eye, but his expression was extremely cold, his gaze at Shen Yuan as if looking at a dead man.

Xu Cheng’an had never liked Shen Yuan, and now he hated him so much he wanted to kick him to death.

Shen Yuan: “…” He was shocked by such a fickle man for the first time.

Chen Jing comforted him for a while. Not hearing Xu Cheng’an cry, she saw him seemingly frightened, clinging to her and refusing to let go.

Chen Jing remembered the outline where he would commit suicide and go dark because of Lu Jingyun and couldn’t help but feel some pity, so she let him be.

Shen Yuan was completely dissatisfied with Xu Cheng’an, especially despising how he was acting pitiful in front of a woman. He wanted Shen Ran to cast him aside several times, but hesitated because of the killing intent he saw in the other’s eyes during their previous eye contact.

Finally, Chen Jing, seeing he wasn’t leaving, asked: “What contract were you going to show me?”

Xu Cheng’an closed his eyes, rubbing his chin in her shoulder socket, expressionless.

“Make him leave first,” Shen Yuan said warily, glancing at Xu Cheng’an.

“Cheng’an is not an outsider. Just say it here,” Chen Jing frowned, ignoring his request.

Shen Yuan looked displeased: “Shen Ran, we’re at least both surnamed Shen.”

“So what?” Chen Jing was completely unmoved by his family card, “If you’re not speaking, just leave. You’re not welcome here.”

From the moment her sister was born, he had harbored malice towards her. Eventually, relying on their parents’ favoritism, he had forced her sister out of the family. Chen Jing didn’t believe he would suddenly care about her just because he had a dream about dying.

At most, he was just looking for someone to blame if he couldn’t find the culprit.

And that scapegoat would only be her and Xu Cheng’an.
