Marry the CEO Carefully

The seemingly perfect CEO couple appeared to be having marital problems.

The crux of the matter would soon become clear to Lin Ziwei.

As the CEO’s wife’s secretary, she had many opportunities to interact with Shui Jing. During a visit to deliver new summer clothes and contact a jewelry store for Shui Jing’s new accessories, she discovered the truth.

Shui Jing also requested that she not call her “madam” in private, saying, “You can call me by my name. Last time was at the company, and I didn’t want to make your boss look bad. I’m not comfortable with the ‘rich wife’ title.”

“Yes, then… may I call you Miss Fang?” Lin Ziwei asked politely.

“Whatever,” Shui Jing replied casually.

Looking at the new jewelry pieces personally delivered by the flagship store manager of a world-renowned jewelry brand, Shui Jing frowned.

“I can’t accept these,” she said. “There’s no need!”

Seeing the manager’s bewildered expression, Lin Ziwei found a way out, suggesting the pieces be sent to the CEO for review or to choose a custom design.

After the manager left, Lin Ziwei cautiously asked, “Miss Fang, is there some misunderstanding between you and the CEO?”

Shui Jing’s expression softened slightly.

After some thought, she candidly explained, “There’s no misunderstanding. We’re currently separated. In eleven months—no, precisely ten months and twenty-one days—I’ll be free.”

Lin Ziwei was shocked. “How could this be?”

“But you seemed so in love… And just last month, the company colleagues celebrated your daughter’s first birthday…”

Love? Shui Jing’s expression stiffened.

She explained her situation: she had lost her memory in an accident, married without remembering, recently regained her memories, and couldn’t accept the marriage. The CEO had agreed to separate for a year before divorcing.

“And please don’t call me madam. It gives me goosebumps.”

The narrative continues with interactions between Lin Ziwei, Shui Jing, and the CEO, revealing the complex dynamics of their relationship and the underlying tensions.

Lin Ziwei left the CEO’s office with a faint blush on her face…

“Miss Fang, Zhihui is so cute! When she smiles, she has two dimples, just like her mother, both are beautiful women…” Lin Ziwei made a face at Guan Zhihui and said: “Right? Little princess?”
