Matriarchal Desires

He had waited for the wrong person. He was happy, but not in the way he initially wanted. When he discovers the truth, will he feel deceived? Jin Yu’s eyes flickered, and she leaned in to kiss his forehead. No matter who he loved before, he was hers now.

Married as soon as they arrived, she refused to let him go to Jin Mo. “From now on, you can only be by my side. I will keep you happy.”

Xu Yi responded softly, “Not a wasted wait. Even if it were, I would continue waiting.” A hint of panic flashed in his eyes. “After marriage, can I live close to you? I’m afraid you’ll forget me.” He had heard men were often cherished initially, then discarded and forgotten. He didn’t want that. “If I’m your bed warmer, can I be with you every day?”

“Nonsense,” Jin Yu felt heartache. She recalled Xu Yi’s previous thoughts of becoming a hidden prostitute just to see her. “I won’t have a bed warmer.”

Xu Yi quickly clutched her clothing, not wanting to be abandoned. “Don’t be angry. If you don’t want it, I won’t do it.” He felt disappointed; he wanted to see her daily.

Seeing Xu Yi’s reaction, Jin Yu’s anger turned into tenderness. “After becoming my husband, you can be with me every day.”

“Really?” Xu Yi lowered his eyes.

“Of course,” Jin Yu said, holding his delicate hand. “Had enough touching?”

Xu Yi was stunned and blushed.

Jin Yu kissed Xu Yi’s delicate hand. “Since you’ve touched enough, now it’s my turn.”

Xu Yi’s heart raced, cheeks burning. “You said you wouldn’t…”

Jin Yu silenced him with a kiss, then continued with soft kisses along his wrist and arm, leaving warm marks that made Xu Yi’s heart melt.

Suddenly, Yunmei interrupted, “Go to sleep first. I’ll be back soon. Nothing will happen.”

After Yunmei left, Xia Rong looked worriedly at his back, knowing he needed to protect Yunmei’s safety.

Yunmei walked through the corridor and arrived at Jinyu’s door, but as he stared at the nameplate, he turned to leave in a daze. He then heard faint moans and Xu Yi’s voice filled with desire. Tears streamed down Yunmei’s cheeks as he realized how much he had suffered over two years of neglect. The feeling of lost love consumed him as he moved away.

When Yunmei returned to the room, Xia Rong sat up from the bed, worriedly calling out, “Young Master Yun,” and prepared to get up.

“I’m fine, don’t worry about me,” Yunmei replied hoarsely. Closing the door, he went to the inner room, hearing the howling wind outside. He opened the window and let the cool breeze calm him. After a while, his tears dried up, and he wiped his face before closing the window and walking to the bed as if nothing had happened.

Xia Rong closed his eyes in relief after hearing Yunmei’s calm breathing.

Su Xi was uncomfortable, having grown used to Jinyu’s embrace and not sleeping with Xiao Lian for a long time.

Xiao Lian, excited to be next to Su Xi, stroked his belly, “Your belly seems to be getting bigger. Will it continue to grow? When will the baby be born?”

Su Xi was not used to Xiao Lian’s attention. “Xiao Lian, touch it tomorrow after we wake up. Sleep now,” he said, taking Xiao Lian’s restless hand.

Disappointed, Xiao Lian said “Oh,” then became curious, “Why does it seem smaller down there? Does it get smaller when the belly gets big? Why are both my top and bottom so small?”

When Xiao Lian grabbed Su Xi down there, his body trembled. Su Xi quickly reached out to move Xiao Lian’s hand away, a hint of anger on his face, “Don’t touch there.”

“Why?” Xiao Lian shrugged, looking aggrieved. He had just touched it for a moment, so why did his brother seem angry?

Feeling helpless, Su Xi didn’t want to make Xiao Lian sad, “The baby is tired and wants to sleep. We should too, or we’ll disturb the baby.” Su Xi had learned to occasionally deceive him for a moment of peace.

This worked well. Xiao Lian quickly put his hand down, “I forgot the baby would be tired. Let’s sleep, and I’ll ask more questions tomorrow.”

Su Xi stiffened at these words, wondering how he would explain things to Xiao Lian. If only Xiao Lian were married, he could understand. But if that happened, he would struggle to see the Xiao Lian he had protected for so many years. His heart was reluctant.

While Su Xi was conflicted, Xiao Lian embraced him to sleep, thinking it was nice to have someone to sleep warmly with and that he too wanted to find someone to hold every night like his brother.

The next morning, Jinyu got dressed, while Xu Yi sat on the bed with a red face, not daring to look up. His clothes were slightly open, revealing clear red marks on his fair skin.

His white arms were partially visible, bearing red marks.

Jinyu looked at him and, after dressing, moved to help Xu Yi dress. He quickly refused, embarrassed, “Don’t… don’t…” momentarily at a loss for words.

“Don’t what?” Jinyu’s eyes showed amusement.

“I can dress myself…”

Ignoring his protests, Jinyu dressed him, asking, “How did you feel last night?”

Xu Yi lowered his head, silent, his face growing hot.

“It’ll be the same when we consummate our marriage. Do you like it?” His blush deepened.

“I won’t hurt you at all when we consummate.”

His face turned even redder.

“Want to do it again?” His face burned.

“Xu Yi,” Jinyu caressed his cheek, “I’ll treat you well in the future.”

Xu Yi buried his head in the bedding, “I… I understand…” Why was she saying these things so early in the morning after discussing so much last night?

Jinyu traced a mark on his neck, which Xu Yi dared not look at but grabbed her hand, “Don’t, it’s daytime now. What if someone sees…” Last night, he had made embarrassing sounds of pleasure, which felt strange.

Jinyu withdrew his hand, lifting Xu Yi from the bed and holding his waist, “Okay, let’s wash up and eat, then continue our journey today.”

Xu Yi remained shyly nestled in Jinyu’s embrace, mumbling an “Okay” in a barely audible voice.

Jinyu seated Xu Yi at the table, saying, “Wait here. I’ll check on the others.”

“Okay,” Xu Yi replied, lowering his head and twisting his handkerchief, his cheeks still flushed.

After Jinyu left, Hua Yan took Xu Yi’s hand and arm, asking, “Young Master, did Miss Jin do anything to you last night? Let me see if you have any injuries.” He had woken up early, worried to find red marks on Xu Yi’s neck and wrists, and his face was still flushed.

Xu Yi held Hua Yan’s hand and shyly reassured him, “I have no injuries; she was very gentle last night.”

Hua Yan, still anxious, pulled up Xu Yi’s sleeve, revealing more red marks on his delicate arms and checking beneath his collar, which was also marked. “Young Master, did Miss Jin really take you last night?”

Xu Yi blushed and quickly pulled down his sleeve. “Hua Yan, don’t worry, and don’t look anymore. She didn’t do anything to me.”

Hua Yan looked at his body and continued to doubt, “Miss Jin really didn’t do anything to you?”

“No, she just kissed me for a while and then went to sleep. Don’t ask anymore,” Xu Yi responded, embarrassed.

When Jin Yu arrived at Su Xi’s side, Su Xi and Xiao Lian were already up. Jin Yu saw Su Xi looking haggard and supported him, displeased with Xiao Lian, “What did you do last night?”

Xiao Lian’s initially happy demeanor faded, looking aggrieved, “I didn’t do anything.” She didn’t understand why Jin Yu was angry; he simply slept with his brother for a night.

“Xiao Lian slept very well last night,” Su Xi tugged at Jin Yu’s clothes, “I’m fine.”

Jin Yu’s gaze softened as he looked at the docile Su Xi, “Let’s go eat.”

As they walked out, Jin Yu supported Su Xi, with Xiao Lian following behind, feeling teary-eyed.

During the meal, Jin Yu continued to serve Xu Yi food, making her face turn red with embarrassment over the intimacy in front of others.

Jin Yu noticed Xu Yi’s shyness but questioned his change since yesterday, “Xu Yi, are you full?”
