Peach Blossom Calamity

“Xia Bing, I’m thinking of buying your book, it must be hilarious.” Hearing her witty remarks, Hai Jun thought the book she wrote must have a great “comedy effect”.

“Treating my book like a humor anthology? But if you want to read it, I’ll bring a few for you to see… though you’ll probably be disappointed. Actually, my books aren’t funny at all.” Xia Bing recalled her books, realizing she rarely wrote in a humorous style, and the latter half would inevitably become serious.

Hai Jun chuckled, “My sense of humor is quite low, so I should be able to find something amusing…”

Xia Bing saw his playful attitude and coyly protested.

After finishing their meal, they walked out of the restaurant together.

“This meal let me experience something completely different… I almost couldn’t eat, Xia Bing, I surrender to you.” Hai Jun felt the atmosphere was very harmonious, and time seemed to pass quickly. Xia Bing was truly a great woman, and getting to know her was his luck, Hai Jun thought, remembering his initial reluctance and chuckling to himself.

Xia Bing laughed, saying such treatment wasn’t available to everyone. Hai Jun responded with a refined smile and jokingly added, “Honored to help, no returns…”

Xia Bing and Hai Jun exchanged a glance and couldn’t help but laugh together.

Hai Jun asked Xia Bing when she was going to visit Wen Auntie, who was sick.

“If you don’t mind the trouble, you can go tomorrow. But if Wen Auntie drives you crazy, don’t blame me for not warning you…” Xia Bing wore an expression that suggested he was doomed.

Xia Bing said she needed to buy some things at a nearby supermarket before going home, so she bid farewell to Hai Jun.

Hai Jun, seeing she had something to do, said goodbye and turned his car around.

Seeing Hai Jun leave, Xia Bing felt much more relaxed.
