Please Be My Princess – Part One

Tianye stopped laughing, sitting up straight and seriously saying, “Would I get hurt?” Then he flashed his perfect white teeth in a snicker.

Hui grew more confused, grabbing the young master’s arm. “What exactly happened?”

Tianye returned to his usual cold demeanor. “The girl I hit is now lying in the city hospital. Go arrange for someone to take care of her 24/7, treat her exactly like you would treat me.” He lit a cigarette, inhaling deeply, the smoke forming rings in the air.

Hui was quite surprised. Usually, they would be sent to beat people up, but this time they were to protect someone. What kind of charm could this person possibly have?

But Hui knew the rules and understood the young master’s temperament.

With instructions clearly given, no matter how many questions he had, he couldn’t ask further. This was respect for the Tian family’s authority.

Hui paused briefly, forcing a laugh. “I’ll arrange everything, young master. Rest assured.” He picked up the documents, stood up, slightly bowing, waiting for further instructions.

Tianye leaned back on the sofa, legs crossed on the coffee table, eyes half-closed. “Alright, you can go.”

That day, Tian Ye, who was usually proper in every gesture, revealed a noble and elegant temperament in every breath, was particularly out of character. He seemed to have lost his soul, with no spirit at all.

The nurses, doctors, and patients in the corridor were anchored at the end, looking at him from a distance, whispering softly, but no one dared to approach. At that moment, he was like a newly hatched eaglet, having lost all of his previous sharpness, without a trace of vitality. But everyone close to him knew that once he came to his senses, he would be a soaring eagle, a domineering king.

Chapter 9 (3)

After what seemed like an eternity, as if centuries had passed for Tian Ye, the “Surgery in Progress” light went out with a “bang”, and the surgery was over.

Tian Ye rushed in.

Throwing himself beside Mei Yu’s bed, he held her delicate hand, looking deeply at her, “Mei Yu, Mei Yu, wake up. It’s me, it’s me.” Tian Ye, in his frenzy, had lost all reason.
