The Abyss

Some truths take a lifetime to understand, but some are grasped in an instant. There is no God in this world; no one exists to protect her. Wherever she goes, she is always alone. Forever.

In the following days, Dong Qin did not leave Lu Tuo’s room. She didn’t go to school, and meals were left at the door of the room. The two of them were like animals, eating and sleeping, waking up to engage in intimate activities, then sleeping again. Was it as if they would never tire? During sex, Dong Qin always pondered this question. His approach was somewhat aggressive; he acted immediately on whatever position he wanted. It was painful, but that pain was mixed with infinite pleasure, gradually turning torment into enjoyment. Perhaps her life was like this, treated brutally, when the pain was unbearable, she would start to enjoy it. Slowly, she became addicted to that pain.

After three days, in the evening, Xiao Ai came to knock on the door. “Young Master, Miss, the master requests your presence in the small living room on the second floor at eight tonight. The tutor will be here today.” Her voice was so calm, as if everything happening in this house was perfectly normal. Dong Qin thought, the world indeed has all kinds of people. Even a regular maid in the Lu family could be so extraordinary.

Lu Tuo was sleeping, and upon hearing the noise, he ruffled his hair, propped himself up, and grabbed his watch from the cabinet. “It’s six… I’ve slept for three hours?” He leaned over to kiss Dong Qin, “Didn’t I ask you to wake me at five?” Dong Qin closed her eyes and murmured, “You were sleeping so soundly, anyone with a conscience wouldn’t want to wake you.” Lu Tuo chuckled softly, holding her bare shoulders, turning her body around, and licked her breast. “Just how insatiable are you? Can’t I satisfy you? It’s quite embarrassing for a man’s stamina to run out first.” He caressed her waist, nibbling at the back of her neck, leaving numerous red marks. Dong Qin sighed, grabbing his hand and shaking her head, “No, I can’t take it anymore. I’m sore all over; let me go for now.” Lu Tuo let out a “Ha,” suddenly flipped her over, pinning her beneath him, “Hearing such words from Zuo Dong Qin, playing hard to get, eh…” His fingers explored downwards, quickly finding the moist garden, and with a slight push, Dong Qin couldn’t help but frown and cry out in pain. He withdrew his fingers, and there was a faint trace of blood. “You really can’t go on, huh.” He laughed, embracing and kissing her fiercely, “Finally, I’ve regained some dignity.”

Dong Qin felt like her entire body was falling apart, especially between her legs, as if scorched by fire, throbbing with pain. Had they been too indulgent these three days? It was too wild.

Suddenly, Lu Tuo lifted her up. Dong Qin leaned back, nearly falling, and hurriedly hooked her arms around his neck. “What are you doing?” she asked lazily, her head resting powerlessly on his shoulder. “We’re going to take a bath, get dressed up to meet guests,” he said, opening the bathroom door. They settled into the bathtub, and hot water cascaded over them, filling the room with steam. Dong Qin leaned against him, allowing him to wash her body, feeling warm all over, her eyes almost closing.

“Don’t sleep,” Lu Tuo patted her face, “Stay alert, I have something to tell you.” “Then tell me,” she responded lazily. “Don’t speak today; let me handle it,” Lu Tuo bit her ear, “Our business has nothing to do with you.” Dong Qin made a sound of acknowledgment.

Lu Tuo continued, regardless of her reaction, “I think the best people Lu Jinghao can invite are probably the likes of Margherita or Jack Yang… not much to fear. But I’m worried someone from the organization might be stirring things up.”

Dong Qin said softly, “An arms trafficking organization has such strict levels?” Lu Tuo suddenly laughed, “Who told you it’s an arms trafficking organization? Did you guess that yourself?” “Oh, then what is it? The mafia? Human trafficking? Or an assassination organization?” Dong Qin asked casually, as Lu Tuo wiped her legs, she played with her hair. Lu Tuo paused, whispering, “None of those, but all of them. Arms trafficking is just one department within the organization. There’s also drug trafficking, running casinos, and laundering money through private banks. In short, we jokingly call the organization the dark side of society; any criminal activity you can think of, if there’s money in it, we do it. Several of Lu Jinghao’s private banks are specifically for money laundering, and I’m a technical staff member specializing in gun design.”

Dong Qin said, “Oh, father and son working together, it’s convenient. He noticed your mechanical talent, he’s quite attentive.” Lu Tuo’s face turned cold, “When I was two, he had countless technicians teaching me. The first thing I learned wasn’t how to use chopsticks, but how to disassemble a gun.” “Don’t you like designing guns?” Dong Qin recalled the first time she entered Lu Tuo’s room, the floor covered with design drawings. How to put it… it was an ocean of guns. Someone not interested in these things wouldn’t let them invade their life.

Lu Tuo set her leg down, “Yes, I like mechanical things. Ever since I designed my first modified small rocket launcher at thirteen, I was drawn in by Lu Jinghao. But that was inevitable.” He laughed, lifting her up, as the shower head poured hot water over them, washing their bodies. “I can only design these killing weapons; apart from this, I can’t find another path.”

“My path was laid out before I was even born; all I have to do is follow it.” He pinned Dong Qin against the wall, his lips close to hers, whispering, “Until I was sixteen, my only lover was the gun. But they were too cold… not as warm as you.” He lifted her leg with his arm, raising it high, and with a slight thrust of his hips, he entered her tight body. She was so hot that Lu Tuo groaned, “This is the first time I’ve found sex interesting… more exciting than designing guns. Dong Qin, hold onto me, don’t let go, never let go.” Dong Qin’s back rubbed up and down on the slick tile wall as she clung tightly to Lu Tuo’s neck, whispering, “…Be gentle… it hurts.” He immediately softened his movements, capturing her lips with a kiss. “I always have a bad feeling,” he said. “A few days ago, there was news that an ace spy from our organization came back to the country… If it’s him, then things are serious.” The soft, slow friction was tingling. Dong Qin suddenly gripped his hair, curling her legs up. Lu Tuo pressed the back of her neck, gradually increasing his force, “Dong Qin, you’re a cruel woman, with no heart for anyone.” Hot water cascaded over their entwined bodies. Lu Tuo’s movements were slow but heavy. He licked her slippery shoulder, whispering, “It doesn’t matter if you have no heart. Since I’ve already intervened in your affairs, there’s no reason to back out. Just watch quietly.” Dong Qin cried out, descending into complete madness. She convulsed, holding onto Lu Tuo’s head, softly calling out in his ear, “Tuo! Tuo… don’t, don’t stop.” Lu Tuo didn’t speak, tilting his head up to meet her moist lips, swallowing all her moans. Was she calling out for him to continue, or would she do the same for any man? He wondered, unsure of what he felt. She was more complex than any intricate gun, even if you disassembled the parts one by one, you wouldn’t understand the underlying principles. Complex, exquisite, he couldn’t give up, determined to put her together, to conquer her! “Zuo Dong Qin,” his voice was muffled between their entangled lips, “you are the greatest challenge I’ve ever faced. I must assemble you into my finest creation…”
