Dong Qin took a deep breath to calm her racing heart, then waved the fax in her hand. “Your father’s fax. I called you many times.” Just these two simple sentences. Lu Tuo pressed his forehead in frustration, “Again! Can’t I get a break?” He quickly stood up, helped her up, and casually kicked the design papers aside. “Sorry for the mess, I didn’t have time to tidy up. Make yourself comfortable, I’ll go freshen up.” He ruffled his hair, then turned back to wink at her, “Oh, by the way, I’ve missed you, sister.”
Before Dong Qin could say she wanted to leave, he had already disappeared into the bathroom. She looked around; there were three or four computers in the corner, of a peculiar shape she had never seen before. Next to them were two printers and three fax machines. His poor bed was in the opposite corner, covered and surrounded by gun design drawings, leaving no room to step. No wonder he had been sleeping on the floor. What exactly did he do for a living? A fifteen-year-old boy, no matter how talented, how far could he go? Those drawings were not comics, not magazines, not even pictures of naked women, but real guns! Dong Qin dared not delve deeper into her thoughts, nor did she wish to; her intuition told her that getting too involved with this family would lead to trouble.
Lu Tuo soon emerged from the bathroom, bare-chested, with a towel wrapped around his waist, his shoulders and arms clearly defined with muscle, his abdomen subtly revealing movement. It was a young, trained body, not overly muscular or greasy, yet exuding a powerful sensuality. Dong Qin averted her gaze slightly. Lu Tuo seemed completely unbothered, wiping his wet hair with a towel, his diamond earring glistening slightly. “Do you prefer tea, coffee, or juice?” He tossed the towel aside, grabbed a large Hawaiian shirt, and naturally slipped off the towel to put on loose beach shorts.
Dong Qin thought to herself, either he was doing this on purpose or he simply didn’t consider these actions inappropriate. Truly a strange person. “I only drink water, cold.” She didn’t like any taste in her mouth, be it sweet or salty, always rinsing with water after eating.
