The Escaping CEO

For three days, he had been unable to contact Xiaoyu. After finally waiting for her call, he heard that she was at the police station, which made him rush over immediately.

Seeing Yun Shaoye arrive quickly, Xiaoyu couldn’t help but feel a slight sense of joy because of his concern.

After talking with the police and understanding that she had only violated street vending regulations and happened to encounter some local ruffians, Yun Shaoye was relieved and paid her bail to get her released.

As soon as Xiaoyu heard she could leave, she walked out of the police station without waiting for him.

Yun Shaoye followed her out, “Haven’t you eaten yet?”

Xiaoyu said nothing, looking at his polished appearance, feeling even more frustrated. It didn’t seem fair that she was in such a miserable situation while he looked so triumphant.

Yun Shaoye opened the car door, “Get in!”

“Where to?”

“To get something to eat.”

Xiaoyu wanted to refuse out of spite but ultimately let him lead her to the car.

Finding a good restaurant nearby, he requested a private room to facilitate their conversation.

“What would you like to eat?” he asked.

“You order. It’s not like I’m paying anyway,” Xiaoyu said with a hint of resentment.

Yun Shaoye, not noticing her mood, was worried she might be hungry and ordered several dishes with the waiter.

After the waiter left, he brought up the issue, “You were street vending again?”

“Didn’t the police already tell you?” she responded, wondering why he was asking.

“Don’t do it again.”

He truly didn’t want her to encounter any more dangers.

Xiaoyu didn’t respond.

“Do you understand?” Yun Shaoye insisted on hearing her promise.

Knowing how stubborn he could be, which could be annoying, she casually replied, “Got it!”

Knowing her personality well, he didn’t press further, believing he would ultimately arrange everything for her in the future.

She opened her eyes wide, “Really? Aren’t big companies like yours usually very strict about educational qualifications?”

Yun Shaoye just smiled without saying a word.

Seeing his reaction made her even more suspicious, “Do you know that I only have a junior college diploma?”

”Enough.” Even if she had only graduated from elementary school, who would dare to say anything if this was his decision?
