The First Demon Empress

Suddenly, I felt the surrounding air was so turbid it made me want to vomit. The person before me made me even more disgusted, but I had no choice. I could only choose to go to Yin Can, that man who was supposedly my brother.

Looking up at the slowly setting sun, the piercing light made me feel a cold chill.

Lifting my head, I look up at the prison, a mocking smile curving at the corner of my mouth. I’m about to see the man who robbed me of eight years of memories and eight years of freedom.

I once saved him, yet his repayment was to make me his puppet for half a year before handing me over to a stranger.

I stride forward; Silver Remnant seems to be having a hard time here. The environment is terrible, dark and damp, with a musty smell permeating the air.

Seeing Silver Remnant, he’s still wearing a black robe, as if being in prison hasn’t affected him much. Except for his slightly disheveled hair, he remains devastatingly beautiful, almost seductively evil, coldly observing everything.

“Brother!” I call out softly. Even though he can no longer control me, I’m still grateful for his care over eight years, despite depriving me of my freedom.

“Not bad, you came quickly. Faster than I imagined!” If his tone was once gentle, now it’s stiff and cold.

“I was afraid if I came a few days later, I wouldn’t see my brother!” A faint smile on my face, but my words are sharp.

I no longer need to pretend. Since he could send Xiao Wu to notify me, he’s already calculated that I’m about to recover my memories. But his calculated demeanor only irritates me more.

“Hui’er, don’t you want to ask why I had you come to this prison?” He raises an eyebrow, an evil smile playing at the corner of his mouth.

I truly dislike his smile.

“When brother wants to tell me, he naturally will. Why would Hui’er unnecessarily ask?” I raise my eyebrow too, indicating I don’t care.

“What does my Hui’er care about? The antidote to the parasitic poison?” He speaks even more arrogantly, each piercing word entering my ears.
