It must be because of the guy in front of her, Wufeng thought painfully. “I can’t let you sacrifice alone; I’ll shave my head too.”
“You dare!” Feng glared at him. “If you touch that Western-style hairstyle, I’ll beat you up.”
Feng was a fan of manga. Seeing Edward Elric from “Fullmetal Alchemist,” she immediately took Wufeng’s head as her experimental subject, designing a similar hairstyle for him. Keeping such long hair violated school rules, yet this sister decided to let him use it to intimidate the principal into granting him first place.
“I won’t go.” He stared at her, his captivating eyes full of warmth.
“My dear brother, you can use those eyes on your sister, but for heaven’s sake, don’t attract a swarm of crazy fans.” Feng leaned towards him, “Do you have a girl you like?”
He jumped in surprise, “Why ask that all of a sudden?”
“Because I care about you! My brother is so cool; there’s no way no girl has confessed to you. Tell me, I won’t laugh at you.”
“Girls are so annoying. But,” he looked at her, “I do have someone I like, someone I’m fond of to the point of life.”
“Who is that person?” she asked curiously.
“I can’t say. She doesn’t like me; it’s quite embarrassing,” he laughed, “I should go, or I’ll be late.”
“Be careful on the road,” she whispered, adjusting her glasses, “Playing mysterious, how annoying.”
Ye Wufeng closed the door. There was one thing he didn’t say out loud: the person he liked was her!
At school, Ye Wufeng was famous as both a heartthrob and a cool guy. Speaking of charm, his hair matched that handsome face which made hearts race, ranking him first among the heartthrobs; when it came to being cool, his indifferent attitude towards everything made him the top cool guy. Being both charming and cool, few girls could escape his allure.
“Classmate Ye, if you still haven’t found someone you like, please go out with me.”
“I’m busy.” Another rejection.
“Big brother, you’re too cruel. That poor girl almost cried,” said Wu Wen, squeezing next to him.
“Mind your own business,” he leaned against the wall. If Feng Feng saw his expression now, she’d never recognize him as her beloved brother.
