His eyes were red with the fury of killing, and he had almost exhausted all his strength, but he barely supported himself, trying to keep his breathing steady, not letting Fu Xiu see through his facade. “Mo Xie, must you open the heavens and the earth? What’s wrong with the chaotic world? At least you and I can rule as kings. As long as you stop trying to open the heavens and earth, I, Fu Xiu, will let you be the great king, ruling over the chaos. Isn’t that better than opening the heavens?” Fu Xiu, cornered by Mo Xie’s relentless pursuit, stood above the vast Northern Sea, attempting to entice Mo Xie to cease his actions. “Fu Xiu, stop dreaming. As long as I, Mo Xie, have a breath left, I will eradicate you completely. Only by opening the heavens can there be hope for all beings. Fu Xiu, are you still trying to stop it for your own selfish reasons?” Mo Xie stood on the turbulent Northern Sea, speaking with righteousness. “Mo Xie, are you determined to open the heavens? Fine, don’t blame me for being ruthless.” Fu Xiu, seeing that his enticement failed, said venomously. “Fu Xiu, the command to open the heavens comes from the divine will above, not just from me, Mo Xie. Give up on that hope.” “Do you not care about your woman’s life?” Fu Xiu suddenly asked. “Fu Xiu, stop this nonsense,” Mo Xie angrily retorted. “Hahaha, Mo Xie, your woman is in my hands. As long as you don’t open the heavens, I’ll return her to you,” Fu Xiu said with a triumphant laugh. Mo Xie’s anger intensified; he didn’t respond further but raised his sword to strike at Fu Xiu. The sky darkened, and giant waves surged to the heavens; the earth dimmed as Mo Xie’s sword slashed the evil dragon. With one strike, Mo Xie cut off one of Fu Xiu’s horns, which was his life essence; without it, he could no longer be a dragon. Fu Xiu, gravely injured, summoned a giant wave and slid towards the deep sea, with Mo Xie in hot pursuit. In the vast expanse of the Northern Sea, Mo Xie fiercely attacked his enemy. What had happened to Zi Yue? Was Zi Yue really in Fu Xiu’s hands? Ah, at that moment, Mo Xie wished he could see Zi Yue; it had been over forty days since he last saw her, and she must be heartbroken with longing. Riding the waves, Mo Xie charged deep into the Northern Sea, aiming straight for Fu Xiu’s lair. But in the depths of the sea, no trace of Fu Xiu could be found in the underwater palace; Mo Xie almost turned the seabed upside down, yet Fu Xiu was nowhere to be seen. “Fu Xiu, come out. Let’s decide life and death once more above the Northern Sea,” Mo Xie shouted while searching. The sound of Mo Xie’s voice and the roar of the waves echoed through the Northern Sea. Where was the cunning evil dragon hiding? Mo Xie swept through seaweed and over coral, when suddenly a faint sound came from a cave. “Fu Xiu, come out!” Mo Xie dashed into the cave, only to see Fu Xiu leaning on a dragon throne, severely wounded. Mo Xie raised his sword to strike, but with a single thrust, the Fu Xiu on the throne disappeared, leaving only the delicate and helpless Zi Yue. Zi Yue opened her eyes, looking at Mo Xie. Through pain and tears, she called out, “Mo Xie…” “No, no,” Mo Xie dropped his sword, driven mad by the reality before him. How could he kill the woman he loved while trying to kill Fu Xiu? He lifted Zi Yue from the dragon throne. “No-no-” The sea roared and howled, echoing Mo Xie’s despair over losing his beloved. The towering waves surged, the bright sky and the vast sea wept for Mo Xie. Overwhelmed with grief, Mo Xie held the increasingly cold Zi Yue, wishing he could kill himself for what he had done. Fu Xiu finally appeared behind Mo Xie, ready to take his life while he was in despair. With his dragon whiskers, Fu Xiu struck at Mo Xie. Heartbroken, Mo Xie gently laid Zi Yue down, picked up his sword, and in the midst of the waves and the dim, vast expanse, he fought his final battle with Fu Xiu. The dancing dragon whiskers attacked Mo Xie, but his sword, gleaming with cold light, cut through Fu Xiu’s whiskers. Fu Xiu screamed in pain and fled. Another giant wave crashed towards Mo Xie. He swung his sword, piercing Fu Xiu’s heart. Holding Zi Yue, Mo Xie kissed her cold lips deeply. Exhausted, Mo Xie fell to the ground, clutching his beloved’s hand, and with his last breath, he said, “Heaven above, earth below. With the vast heavens and earth as my witness, Mo Xie has not betrayed Zi Yue. In the calamity of heavens and earth, Mo Xie emerges. Only Zi Yue’s blood can unlock the seal on the sword; only Mo Xie can wield it.” He wanted to use his sword to bring Zi Yue back to him, to prove his love with her blood. With his last strength, Mo Xie tightly embraced Zi Yue, and with that, he died… In the final scene, Xu Caitong clutched her chest, tears streaming down her face. She was devastated, never imagining that in the countless ages, she would be killed by the man she loved. She hated him, she hated him. At the beginning of the world’s creation, this Mo Xie, who swore he loved her and would love her for eternity, ended her life with a single stroke. She knew why her heart ached; it was where Mo Xie’s sword had pierced. Xu Caitong backed away as Liu Buqun approached. “Why did you kill me?” She couldn’t escape this question, her heart filled with pain and hatred. “No, it’s not like that,” Liu Buqun cried out in pain, hoping for her forgiveness. “Why did you cruelly kill me?” Xu Caitong clutched her chest, asking again. “No, no.” “Boom.” A thunderbolt struck in front of them, between them, immediately blasting a pit in the mountain ahead. “Boom.” A series of lightning strikes followed, one after another, with dazzling flashes that were both terrifying and awe-inspiring. Scattered mud hit them, and Xu Caitong, frightened, fled to the other side of the mountain. Liu Buqun, looking up at the thunderous sky, raised Mo Xie’s sword and roared, “What are you showing off for? If you dare, come down and fight me one-on-one. See if I don’t tear you apart!” Another, more intense, more dazzling thunderbolt seemed to respond to Liu Buqun’s arrogance, flashing across Mo Xie’s sword, merging with its sharpness in a burst of light, tearing through the sky. “Crack.” The sky seemed to split. Liu Buqun, looking at the brilliant light on the sword’s edge, felt something, swung the sword, directing the light towards the Eagle Cry Mountain. With a thunderous crash, the mountain was split in half; what was once a whole peak now stood divided. From the split in the mountain, a beam of spiritual light soared into the heavens, directly to the Celestial Palace. This beam of golden light brought light and hope to the world. Originally standing on the same mountain peak as Liu Bugun, Xu Caitong found herself on another mountain top due to a mountain split. The massive shock made her unsteady, and she fell to the ground. “Rainbow—” Liu Bugun’s shout echoed through the “Rainbow-” mountain. Xu Caitong struggled to her feet, looking far into the distance at Liu Bugun, her eyes wide with shock at the spiritual light within the mountain range. She was bewildered, unclear why she was standing there.
