Yandere Begs for a Break – Part One

Looking at his hostile expression, Tao Yu silently gripped her baton and coldly replied, “Yes, what of it?”

The burly man rushed towards her without another word. Just as he was about to reach her, an angry shout came from behind, “Da Zhuang! What are you doing!”

The burly man immediately stopped, frowning and looking back, “If it weren’t for her, Yue Linze wouldn’t have been sent to solitary confinement, and the boss wouldn’t have been injured. Shou Hou, don’t interfere, I must get justice for the boss!”

“Justice, my foot! You can’t touch prison staff, don’t you know that?!” A skinny man walked out cursing. Tao Yu narrowed her eyes when she saw his face – this was the monkey-like man who had been next to the bald head earlier, and his nickname was actually Shou Hou.

Old Chang asked me to bring you some medicine,” she thought to herself, trying to strike a balance between being friendly without being too eager – a delicate line that was incredibly difficult to navigate. So she decided to shift half the responsibility back to Old Chang, “Inspectors might come to check sometime soon. No matter how you usually are, you can’t have any visible injuries.”

Yue Linze looked at her playfully, not knowing when someone would come to inspect this abandoned island.

“Take this,” Tao Yu’s hand stretched through the iron window, passing the medicine. Her sleeve got caught on the window frame, sliding up halfway and revealing her fair white wrist.

Yue Linze stared at her arm, as white and tender as a lotus root, for a long while. Only when Tao Yu impatiently urged him did he curl his lips in a light laugh, taking the medicine from her hand.

Tao Yu glanced at him and was about to leave when she heard Yue Linze lazily say, “Little prison guard, keep me company. I’m so bored here. Psychological trauma is also an injury. What if the inspection team comes and sees that the prisoners have been driven crazy by you?”

Tao Yu paused, her steps slowing. As a psychologist, she was well aware of how much psychological damage a closed space could cause.

Yue Linze saw her leave and shrugged indifferently, turning back to sit on the bed and casually placing the medicine there without any intention of applying it.
